Excellent work executed by professional, kind people. Cornerstone has earned my business…read more I was in need of some landscape work to trim/shape some of the hedges on the property and to clear up some heavily overgrown ivy along the fenceline. In search of a landscaping company, I called Cornerstone Hauling and Gardening as they had received very positive reviews and they were local. Daniel answered the phone and asked how he could help. I explained my situation and he was on site within 20 minutes. We did a walk-around the property while I explained what I was looking to have done. I liked talking with Daniel because he was engaged, asked questions, and provided me with options based on the answers. We agreed to a price and set an appointment for 1 week later. Note: I work from home so Daniel understood the importance of scheduling/coordinating the work his team would be doing and my own. One week later Daniel arrives right on time with Jen, Preston and Joey. Daniel introduced me to the entire team, we reviewed the list of items on the list to be addressed, and they went straight to work. They accomplished a lot of work very quickly. In just a matter of hours they had completed everything on the list, cleaned and swept up, and the branches/vine clippings from the trimming they had done were loaded in the truck to be hauled away. They also went above and beyond and took care of a couple of additional items they noticed. Their work is clean. They are very detail oriented and took great care of the property. The invoicing/payment process was very easy and convenient as well. The result of their hard work is BEAUTIFUL. I would recommend Cornerstone to handle any type of landscaping or hauling you need. I will not hesitate to contact them again in the future.

Very happy with Armando's work and love our new fence…read more He came by to see the old fence and show us photos of his work for ideas. He explained how different styles and materials would affect cost. In the end we asked him to match the style of the older fencing in our yard, which he did a great job of - but he also made suggestions for some modifications to make the fence more durable. He also added a nice detail work where the fence meets our shed so it matched - which I didn't notice until after the Job was done and we appreciate! The estimate was fair and the work was done on time and within our limited schedule - which we also appreciate.

The oak tree was cut down and the stump ground down for safety, the chicken coop was weeded and all debris removed, and they even planted grass seed for us on our upper lawn that had been damaged by gopher holes. Chris is friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to reach out again a few weeks later just to make sure the grass was growing in. We quickly agreed on the cost and terms and the job was completed as promised. Chris as well as his employees were very professional, clean and well educated on the work that had to be done. Rarely does a project turn out even better than one expects. The backyard fence they constructed is so beautiful that I decided to do an additional section I hadn't originally planned on doing because my old side yard fence looked so bad next to Cypress Coast Fence's quality craftsmanship. From estimate, to proposal, to installation, the staff communicates clearly and efficiently, taking the needs of the client into consideration at all times. If any issue arises, it is handled promptly and without hesitation. In the trades, follow through is even more important than the original job, and I know this is a company that is trustworthy through and through. It is clear that the owner has the utmost integrity as well as business acumen. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough. I shall always return to them for my fencing and arbor projects.

Leo the owner personally went to check the trees and the next day Sarah emailed me the estimate. The price is reasonable and affordable. I asked for four trees to be pruned but had a last minute addition of a pine tree, and they accommodate it right there and then. Jose and Jorge came at 9am as what I've been told and worked on the trees, Leo went in to check with them after an hour which I like because it shows that he values his customer and making sure that the work is being done. The guys are very respectful of the property, they're polite and they went above and beyond what's needed to be done. They left my property clean. Sarah is the one who communicates with me through phone about things like payment, and added last minute services. She's kind and awesome, answering all my questions and making sure everything is done according to my liking. I contacted Josh after getting discouraged by sky high quotes, or the typical contractors that…read moreeither never respond or don't show up at all. He was quick to schedule a meet up to go over quotes. The attention to detail and willingness to work with my many scattered ideas made working with Josh simple and straightforward. The fences are beautiful, and we even have separate styles going on between the front metal fence and gates, the back gates, livestock fencing, and the side wood fence. Over 550' of fence later, all were executed beautifully. Finally my dogs/goats/sheep are all secure to roam the property as they please! The work done was on time besides a couple hang ups that had to do with unexpected wood shortages after the fires, but even then we weren't off by anything significant. The work that was promised was done, and when there was a miscommunication error it was promptly fixed with zero hassle or unfair changes in pricing. I actually felt bad with how quickly and willing they were to fix something when it was really my fault for not explaining what I wanted well enough. I was even apologizing to his crew as well who carried on without a fuss lol! We were up front about our budget, and we worked together on ideas until we came up with something that would still check all the boxes but not break the bank. We enjoyed working with him so much we have gone on to hire him for multiple other jobs like retaining walls and sheds, and have quotes lined up for future projects when our budgets can fit it as well! Our neighbors were also impressed with the fence and have since hired him for their own personal projects. Josh really goes far above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy, so I'm surprised to see people leaving bad reviews since he's all about making sure it was a positive and fair experience. When word of mouth is so incredibly important for small businesses like this, I feel like it's important to be honest and give credit where credit is due, and if there's an issue see if it can be worked out before making that final judgement on a bad review. I know without a doubt Josh will be our go-to guy for any projects, and I have no hesitation with recommending him to family and friends when they comment on how great our fences look!
