First time stopping at this store I bought a few cigars and. It is my recipe they charged me extra because they charged me for 2 of a different cigar that cost more. I got back to Florida and called and Robert told me there was nothing he can do for me I'd have to co so back in store I buy a lot of cigars online and do a lot of walk ins. Prices are not even good and they don't have any boutique cigars. Won't be back here.

I have always liked stopping in at JR's. Not so much anymore. Prices are not that good and the selections have dwindled. The staff are not that knowledgeable or helpful. Seems to be more friendly to the locals. (I'm not in the "click". I've had a problem with an on line order (thinking they could help me). NO.... When I asked, they informed me they had nothing to do with the on-line JR. Could not have cared less.... The lounge area looks great and is very comfortable. I'll keep stopping and hoping for better!

Their credit card machine was down , I spent all my cash . My friends got coupon from yelp but yelp didn't gave me any coupon as I checked in but yelp didn't give me %10 discount coupon. And any way they don't accept for cigarettes. The girl in the counter looks like new and doesn't know what she was doing. I had to ask $1 discount from carton to get that discount . I spent $ 420.00 didn't even give me free lighter.... And their vape prices are way more expensive than New Jersey I drove extra 35 miles to get cheap cigarettes but it is not worth it...

Been a few times and customer service is top notch. Wish they stayed open a little longer though.

Great selection and prices. They have a nice smiling lounge but for some silly reason they close at 6pm! WTF! Stay open later why not?

Ask the Community - JR Cigar Outlet - Selma

Do they sell cigarettes and chewing tobacco? I didn't see any in the pictures and the description is geared towards cigars. Thanks!

Yes, they sell cigarettes. Not 100% sure about chewing tobacco, but I believe they sell it. It seems I remember seeing it, but that was a while ago.

Plush couches and deep leather chairs form little islands of comfort, perfect for sinking into a conversation that doesn't need to end soon. Along the walls, humidors stand like treasure chests, keeping their cigars in stately silence. Vintage wood glows everywhere--from the bar's polished surface to the beams above--each grain steeped in quiet history. Overhead, TVs flicker with old games and new ones alike, while dart boards wait nearby for a little friendly competition between sips of bourbon and curls of smoke. The bartender slides the Old Fashioned across the bar with the precision of a man who's been doing it long enough to know that showmanship is for amateurs. No fancy garnish, no chatter--just the soft clink of glass meeting wood and a nod that says this'll do. Happiness here isn't loud or glittery--it's slow-burning and pleasantly lopsided, like a jazz tune played just slightly off the beat. It seeps in between sips and smoke rings, wrapping itself around you like the worn leather of the chair you've claimed for the night. It's the kind that finds you sitting still, glass half full, smoke curling upward like a satisfied sigh. Cheers!

Stopped in around 2 with my husband after realizing we were headed in the wrong direction across…read moreNorth Carolina and needed a quick lunch. Found this place on Yelp and went with it. Seat yourself setup, but plenty of seating available. Our server, Madison, was at the table in under a minute with menus, and food came out in less than 12 minutes. She was efficient and attentive without making us feel rushed. This is a gastropub, meaning a casual bar-style restaurant that puts more focus on food quality than a typical bar menu. The space reflects that. Mix of standard tables with chairs, booths, and a small lounge area with cushioned chairs and a sofa. He ordered the Reuben, I had the pulled pork with collards. Prices were reasonable at $12 for the pork and $13.50 for the Reuben, each with one side. We both wanted the cucumber tomato salad, but they were out. The pulled pork came with a red, vinegar-leaning sauce. Not sweet and not strictly Lexington style, more of a house take on North Carolina barbecue. Still flavorful and satisfying. The collards were good with small bits of bacon that added flavor without overpowering. The Reuben was decent, but the toasted brioche bun stood out. Good texture and held everything together the way it should. The pasta side was fine, nothing memorable. Total bill came to $27.26. We both stuck with water, which keeps things simple and keeps the cost down. Overall, a solid stop for a quick, easy lunch. Nothing over the top, but everything came together the way it should. Must order: Pulled pork with collards Heads up: Sides may run out, have a backup in mind

The food was good, service was ok, the ambiance was beautiful…read more We're Texans so we are super picky about our brisket and this was most definitely nice tender brisket. The flavor was good but not earth shattering. If you aren't a brisket snob, you'll love this place! The bar aspect of this restaurant was really cool looking. We went at an off time and there were a good many people there. Service was pretty slow and not attentive.
