Stepping into the cigar bar feels like slipping into a well-dressed time machine that decided to…read moreloosen its tie. The air hums with the scent of tobacco, oak, and good decisions made slowly. Plush couches and deep leather chairs form little islands of comfort, perfect for sinking into a conversation that doesn't need to end soon. Along the walls, humidors stand like treasure chests, keeping their cigars in stately silence. Vintage wood glows everywhere--from the bar's polished surface to the beams above--each grain steeped in quiet history. Overhead, TVs flicker with old games and new ones alike, while dart boards wait nearby for a little friendly competition between sips of bourbon and curls of smoke. The bartender slides the Old Fashioned across the bar with the precision of a man who's been doing it long enough to know that showmanship is for amateurs. No fancy garnish, no chatter--just the soft clink of glass meeting wood and a nod that says this'll do. Happiness here isn't loud or glittery--it's slow-burning and pleasantly lopsided, like a jazz tune played just slightly off the beat. It seeps in between sips and smoke rings, wrapping itself around you like the worn leather of the chair you've claimed for the night. It's the kind that finds you sitting still, glass half full, smoke curling upward like a satisfied sigh. Cheers!

This place is a gem for cigar smokers and I hope the people in and around Dunn support it. There are plenty of comfortable chairs, 4 TVs, a full bar, beer in the ca/bottle and cool accessories. The girl working there was the owners daughter and she was as nice as she could be. She told us all about the brands they sold and what deals were going on for Black Friday. If you live in the area, there is a 20$ annual membership fee and it looked like they had lockers/cabinets that could be rented. Parking was super easy. I will definitely go back here when we are back visiting in that area!

I've been once and will be going back again this week. It's fairly new and opened up in October 2024. Everything inside is pristine and luxurious compared to some other local lounges. Soon as I walked in the owner and his daughter welcomed us in and showed us around. They don't have a walk in humidor but they have several lined up against the wall on both sides of the room. Great selection and great prices. What I was really blown away by was the bourbon selection. I immediately spotted some Blanton's and then a freaking bottle of Pappy VanWinkle!! Holy crap! I got a double shot of Wellers for $20/total with my Rocky Patel Decade cigar which was $10. I went ahead and became a member, it's $15 for the year and you get a free cigar when you sign up which was a maduro Cohiba. The outside patio is covered and has rockers built out of old bourbon barrels. Inside there is a huge couch area with a bunch of swanky leather chairs that are so deep you could fall asleep. They have two TV's they keep on but they don't turn on the volume as the owner prefers to play jazz and blues all the time which fits the vibe. Bonus they have lots of street parking and a sign setting aside a couple spots for motorcycles only. Can't wait to ride down and enjoy the nice easy ride from Raleigh through the country.

Charging $30 for a double shot when I could buy the bottle for that much is insane. I understand needing to hit margins, but that's outrageous and easily one of, if not the worst place in Fayetteville to get drinks. Gru downtown might be worse. Cigar prices aren't good either, you can easily find everything from anstead's or better yet smoker friendly for $2-$5 cheaper depending on the stick. It's a shame because the environment is almost prefect and exactly what i look for in a cigar lounge however the cost is unrealistic to justify going,

I love coming here because I feel so welcomed and after a while it begins to feel like Cheers where everyone knows your name. I particularly love Southerlands because it's conveniently located close to Stock and Grain Food Hall in High Point. It's literally a 2 min drive. This spot has all the vibes, wonderful music, friendly staff and occasionally a food truck. Even though I don't always smoke a cigar, I appreciate that when you walk inside, you don't instantly smell it so strongly. I've been to other cigar lounges and the cigar smoke can be a lot. Y'all know I absolutely love a good cocktail. The bartenders are wonderful and the drink selections are plenty. Even if you don't see something on the menu you would like, they can make you anything. I appreciate how accommodating they are as well. Whether I come during the week (they started $5 drink specials on Wednesdays) I can pull up and have a drink and bring my laptop or come on a Friday for Ladies Night and have a DJ spin and I'm on the dance floor. Whatever you are feeling, they have it. You also never know who you're going to meet. I think it's also a great place for networking. They do have options if you'd like to do a private event or celebrate something special. There is plenty of space and a very large parking lot. I'll have to update you all on the cigars when I go next time. They've been in business about 3 years and I want it to stay around. Please support this local establishment. You will not be disappointed. I hope when you come that you make a friend or two because I definitely have.
