She was sensitive to my heightened gag reflex since I am pregnant and watched for any signs of my gums not being healthy since it's a higher risk during pregnancy. A week and a half later and my teeth still feel SO CLEAN! I got to be in the bird room office - a corner space with enormous windows on two sides and a view of a bird feeder in a big evergreen tree with tons of cute birds coming and going as you get your teeth cleaned. It was beautiful and relaxing. Dr. Lubbe was positive, fun and answered all my questions. It was a wonderful experience.

My son used to be terrified of going to the dentist but since we have switched to Lavoie Pediatric Dentistry he is no longer scared. Carin is FANTASTIC and did his cleaning today. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. She gave us some tips on how to maintain good oral health at the same time making us feel like we were talking to an old friend. She also made my son feel good about himself . He was smiling the whole time. Dr Lavoie is also wonderful. He talks to us in ways that we understand which makes me feel comfortable. The presence overall in the office was warm and calm. I trust this office and recommend them to EVERYONE! I drive 30+ minutes to see them. That's how amazing they are.

After we were seated, forty minutes after our appointment time, an assistant asked whether nitrous oxide would be used, which I declined. The dentist then entered the room without washing her hands and did not introduce herself or confirm my son's identity. She did not explain that she intended to proceed with an extraction. She briefly referenced a "bite block" without clarifying the nature of the procedure. Without obtaining informed consent, the dentist administered Novocaine and exited the room, again without washing her hands. After the injection, an assistant presented an iPad for consent. I asked what I was being asked to sign and was told to "read the iPad." The dentist then returned and extracted the tooth. Post-procedure instructions were provided only after the extraction was completed. At no point prior to Novocaine administration or extraction was informed consent obtained. Additionally, I observed a lack of hand hygiene upon entry and exit, which was concerning as the dentist continued to see other patients. I raised these concerns during the visit. My feedback was dismissed and met with explanations rather than acknowledgment.

Their knowledge and experience working with children is evident as the entire office from decor to music was tailored to children; this bit seems less important and superficial but it is tremendous in making a child feel comfortable and as a parent, that your child is understood. On top of all of this, Dr. Park and her team, including Miss Lisa are trained to work with children with disabilities such as those on the spectrum. They displayed this specialty with how they were able to utilize specific techniques and explaining things with social stories. Their sense of urgency is also most appreciated as they were able to coordinate services for my son with Northeast Dental Anesthesia, who is also highly recommended. All in all, Pink Door Dental definitely has me in their cheering section and I would recommend to anyone and everyone. If they took adults, I'd transfer over too!

Painting the waiting room with bright colors and adding some toys might make it more kid welcoming. If they have the extra cash it might be worth it to hire an interior designer to make the waiting room more fun. But regardless, I highly recommend this place to anyone with kids!

After answering the phone with a kurt "hi" I was promptly asked "do you have insurance". I replied yes but had a question...before I could even complete my questions the receptionist told me they don't make appointments until they can verify my insurance. I said that was fine however i had a question (i have bcbs and delta dental and wanted to know if I could specify which would be the primary, etc.), she told me to hold but forgot to actually hit hold where I could hear her and another receptionist badmouthing me about "asking so many questions", "probably doesn't even have insurance", "ugh another new patient paperwork"....she then realizes that she didn't actually put me on hold and says she's going to transfer me to someone else.. The next receptionist picks up and says "can I help you", I tell her I was transferred to her and that i was trying to set up a new appointment. Before I could even start asking a question I'm asked again about having insurance which I reply that I do. She starts taking my information and is increasingly more and more rude as I answer her questions and reply with my own (like why do you need 2 phone numbers and an email address to "remind me of an appointment? - simple question, right?!). This place was highly recommended by several people I know however based off this first impression by their reception staff, I can't believe they are able to stay in business with customer service like this. my teenage daughter had a cleaning appt today where a filling in her front tooth dislodged...ok…read morethings happen but when Dr Lasser came in to check her teeth ( not her regular dentist that she sees...she has dr Elice who is wonderful), dr Lasser asked her if she was aware that she had a chip in her tooth. my daughter explained that when the hygienist was just cleaning her teeth, the filling was knocked out. Dr. Lasser proceeded to put the blame on my daughter that the filling fell out and made her cry in the office. While crying, he had no compassion for her and continued the oral examination as if she was completely fine!! COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!! ...give her a minute to get composed! . And to make matters worse, they can't accommodate her to have the filling redone for months. My husband asked if they could fit her in soon to have it redone with her regular dentist and Dr Lasser started yammering about how busy they were because they were one of the only practices that still took dental dental.... totally off topic !!!! ( while my daughter is still crying btw!) We have had an issue before with Dr. Lasser and his rudeness years ago, it's time for him to retire if he can't have compassion and respect for his patients .... It gives the rest of the employees in his office a very bad look !!! if booking an appointment with this office, I would be avoid him as a dentist at all cost!
