Dr Bouffard listened to all my concerns and took the time to explain. His assistant was very nice. What more can you ask for? Got follow up appt. in a week. Today I experienced the worst visit I have ever had. I got there early, 8am appointment was there at 10 of to be safe, first appointment of the day and didn't get started until quarter after because the hygienist Marissa was not ready. I felt extremely uncomfortable with both her conversation topics (complaining about their equipment and talking about their high turnover rates with hygienists) as well as the 20+ minutes of almost being drowned with a water pick while I was told to move my head and neck into extremely uncomfortable positions to make it more convenient for her and make HER more comfortable. I was so uncomfortable, was sprayed multiple times and had her entire hand resting over my eye at one point with skin contact. After 40 minutes of the appointment time she still hadn't started brushing/polishing my teeth and instead was lecturing me on flossing. Again while not actually cleaning my teeth, just sitting there. I said I had no plan to, and just wanted my cleaning done. Again this is 40 minutes in, and I do have a job of my own to get to. She struck my cheek, I am guessing in her mind it was playful, but as someone who was already EXTREMELY uncomfortable at that point it was completely unnecessary and unwarranted. I got up, said I was all set and left. I asked the woman at the front desk if there was a comment card I could complete and she said I could just tell her the problem. Like I said I have a job to get to, so I called on my way there and explained the whole situation as I am doing here. She apologized but said all she could do was make sure the next time I was with a different hygienist. Keep in mind Marissa is already the 4th one I have seen in two years so the odds of that were pretty high anyway. But since there is no other solution, or comment card for the real manager/ owner. Here is it. They would not provide MARISSA's last name, but when I find a NEW dental office, I will be sure to make sure she is not on staff there.

I tried getting a preauthorization for a crown and I've had to jump through hoops between the dental office and my insurance, each one pointing the finger at the other one over a procedure that's supposed to be covered. I think it's time to start looking for a new dentist. The only thing that's been consistent has been my hygienist. She's been great.

I know people hate/fear the dentist. I don't necessarily hate the dentist, I simply hate taking the…read moretime to go. I always think "Eh, my gums aren't bleeding so I'm probably fine, right???" But if you pay for dental insurance, there's no excuse. So, I make an effort to visit the dentist regularly to avoid future complications. As I mentioned, I hate taking time to go to the dentist. But, every time I've visited, it's been quick in-and-out. Their hours are convenient (yay for later appointments to fit my teacher schedule!) Dr. Renaud is incredibly professional yet kind. All staff, from receptionists to dental hygienists, have been helpful, efficient, and super friendly. Their office is clean and cozy. I'd recommend coming here even if you don't live in Riverside because it's next to a delicious Italian deli. And, easy in-and-out parking. So go get those pearly-whites cleaned!

I was extremely impressed by his incredible knowledge and attentiveness to my personal needs. On December 7, 2017 I had breast augmentation with a lift. I have never had surgery and Dr. Sullivan eased all of my anxiety. He took time right before anesthesia to comfort me once again to go over the procedure. His compassion, sensitivity and overall demeanor exemplified the qualities of the ultimate doctor. The same level of respect and caring was also consistent with his professional staff that make me feel so welcomed at every office visit. The day after the surgery Dr. Sullivan called me personally to check in and see how I was doing. While this may be a common practice for him, I felt validated by his sincerity. I even received flowers from him which helped brighten my spirits. I encountered some difficulty where by my body was rejecting the dissolvable stiches but Kim from his office was amazing with taking such good care of me. I would strongly recommend Dr. Sullivan for anyone contemplating any type of plastic surgery. He and his staff are first quality and provide the best experience possible.

Goodness, moving sucks. But, finding a dentist afterwards, to me, is worse…read more I'm so glad I found them when I did though. What I thought was sensitivity from grinding my teeth, turned out to be me grinding my teeth down to nothing and needing a root canal (which I didn't know during the basic 'new patient' exam). Actually, no one knew, since I didn't have any pain. It was about a week after, I woke up a Friday night with severe pain radiating through my mouth. Me being me, I didn't check to see if they were open weekends, (which Saturdays, they are). So, I suffered through until Monday morning and called the minute they opened. Woman I spoke to could tell I was in pain and asked if I could show in 1hr. I arrived, Dr. Kim poked around and determined I needed a root canal on one tooth. Unfortunately, here is why I took off one star. They have an endodontist at the location but, not all the time. So, the next available appt to get an assessment, (just assessment, not work done) was two weeks from then. So, I had to find another place to get my root canal done asap. But, the fact they fit me in so insanely fast was just pure awesomeness. Plus, I got the root canal done at another establishment but, the permanent filling and crown was done by Dr. Kim and Aisha. Both so patient, sweet, funny and gentle. Always telling me what they're doing and checking to see if I'm okay. Clean, welcoming establishment and great staff all around. They're all so nice to each other! So, unless you're looking for a last minute root canal, I highly recommend Gentle Dental Seekonk.

I have mixed feelings about this place. Their work seems to be good, but their prices are very…read morehigh -- and the prices keep going up. I was told by another patient that they will charge you the rates insurance companies pay if you are poor, but I haven't asked for that myself since I may not be poor enough. If you are poor, it is worth asking (you should speak to your dentist, not the secretaries at the front desk). A friend of mine who was poor was allowed to pay in installments. You can see my difficulty in rating this practice -- it has standard fees which are way too high, but they are willing to offer discounts. How does one rate that? My four-star rating is based on my estimate of the quality of their work. The dental assistants do a great job of cleaning teeth, but the price for a cleaning is now $120. But it takes only 35 minutes to clean your teeth, for which the dental technician is paid about $30 (including benefits), so is that a fair price? It seems to me that if a dental technician is doing it and not the dentist, it should cost less.
