Bit of a wonky system for Passport holders! There are two tasting options. The first is free for everyone regardless of whether you have the passport or not. The second is $10 without the passport, $5 with the passport..... I can completely understand why smaller companies on the passport would do this, though this is the first time we've encountered it in all our passport visits (about 35) this year. The fact that they still processed passports for people who get the free option was also a bit strange. Beautiful products but the service left much to be desired. We came in about 30 mins before closing and the place was packed. Took us ages to be served. It was a total zoo and we couldn't get any of the servers attention. Our server was kind and delivered a rote-description very well but couldn't answer any of our questions, claiming she was too new. The other servers completely avoided eye contact, seemed to be exasperated about the crowd, and were (honestly?) a little greasy. At about 4:45 another customer came in and the server said (loud enough for everyone at the counter to hear?) "You're just arriving now?..... Well ok. But THATS IT." way to make customers feel welcome. Very disappointing for a place with some beautiful products.

If you so much as mildly enjoy bourbon, make sure this is a stop of yours when in Woodinville. Great staff, delicious bourbon and syrup, and lots of knowledge to be shared. We can here after a family member's memorial to continue family time, and our bartender poured small shots for everyone in honor of our family member. I teared up, it's rare for a business to make people feel so special. Great company.

J.P. Trodden Distilling is a small, craft bourbon distillery showcasing some fine flavors in the whiskey arena. While the space is very small, tucked away in an industrial park, and production is still limited, Mark Nesheim and Jennifer Seversen are coming out with a phenomenal product. The hours are pretty limited, but if you are in the area, it's certainly worth checking into to. They make you feel welcome and the hospitality is top notch. Good folks making great whiskey.

Best "Old Fashioned" I've ever had. It pairs well with chocolate.

If straight up bourbons aren't your thing, they also have a couple cocktails that feature the bourbon to try.

I wish I would have remembered the name of the sweet person who was so informative and engaging. I loved that we were offered a private tour of the distillery. It was fun to walk around as we sipped our gin and whiskey samples. What made the tour even better was to hear the history of the company and how well they treat their employees. The positivity definitely shines through and creates an even better customer experience. I ended up purchasing without doubt a bottle of Kur Gin. I am somewhat of a gin snob, this gin is so deliciously smooth you can drink it neat which I find to be rare for most gins. If you are looking for a tasty cocktail or want to know more about gin and whiskey stop by and visit Wildwood Spirits you won't be disappointed.

Everything we tried we loved and purchased. All liquors are bottled by hand. Their bourbon whiskey "The Dark Door" is a rare commodity. It's bottled once a year and always sells out at pre-sale. It's that good! They have a vodka "Stark Vatten" which translates to strong water. The keys to a great vodka are odorless, tasteless and colorless. Stark Vatten has all of those qualities to make a great vodka. Last but certainly not least, their gin "Kur" pronounced cure, is in a league of its own and has won many awards. It won awards in 2015,16 and 17 at San Francisco's World Spirits Competition. I recommend anyone to check out Wildwood Spirits, I'm certainly going back for more Dark Door, Stark Vatten and Kur.

The tour felt a bit rushed, but it was fun. I love wine, so it was enjoyable to try so many new wines, and the wines were great! Our first stop was a wine paired lunch at Covington, then we moved on to Daveport Cellars, Patterson Cellars, and then ended at Distefano Winery. We had some good wines paired perfectly with chocolates. I discovered a white wine that I really liked, and we learned a bit about the wine making process. Overall a good day! One other thing that was a big topic of conversation: The tour guide Janis is a bit intense. It felt like she was yelling at us when she spoke on the bus about the tour. "this is a wine tasting tour not a wine drinking tour". I respect that she takes her job seriously, and its clear she has a passion for the Woodinville wine community, but she came across pretty abrasive at times, saying things like "I don't know if you realize these people have what you would call 'real jobs' too". I don't know it just seemed unnecessary to lecture the group. Everyone there was just excited to try some wines and have a good time. I just wish we had a tour guide who was more positive. She was kind of a buzz kill.
