Over the last six months-they do not show up and have the excuse that they called to verify our prearranged time-but they never called. I have insisted there is no record on my phone log of them ever calling. It is disappointing as they were a good company. Today, I waited all day for an appointment and they still are not here. Now, I am going to revise my comment as Randy just showed up-apologized profusely and said I will not be charged for this visit. He also said he could be my service tech from this point forward and would make sure this will not happen again.

Often, you will find a pest control technician can do pest exclusion work in a manner that potentially costs you substantially more in damage to your home. Why? Because they do not understand building design. Example: Installing mesh hardware in a roof valley. It will collect moisture, debris, catch birds that will die, and all this attracts rodents. The various debris mixed with water becomes acidic and accelerates deterioration of roof materials. Home watch is another service we offer for your peace of mind. Flexible plans to meet your needs. AZ Pest Control did the most comprehensive inspection of my home and told me where they found a colony outside that was making it's way into my house. I hired them immediately and they sprayed inside, outside, and come by every other month to spray, granulate the grounds, and check any other issues. Last year I got a call telling me they saw termite activity outside and I needed to get it treated. Mind you - I did have it treated by a different company the prior year who I'm pretty sure stole my money and did nothing. There was no record of them treating my house which they're required to report to the state. So again I hired Arizona Pest Control. We installed a treatment system and all has been fine since. Communication is great. I know when the tech is coming with email reminders, day of texts, and get emailed the report immediately after. They keep the outside from coming inside which provides my bug phobic self a lot of peace.

If you are looking for termite treatment, use Desert Shield Pest Control. Some businesses will…read morewrite their own reviews and give themselves five stars. All of the previous five star reviews for this business looked authentic. I submitted the project, using Yelp, to multiple businesses. Out of all the businesses that the project was sent to for the termite treatment, this was the only one that had a good follow up. All other businesses were like "call this number" or "visit this website". Desert Shield replied, via Yelp, and offered to drop by the very next day and asked for my address. Eric showed up the next day at the agreed time. He confirmed my worries about the lines being termite tubes. He pointed out a few more that I did not see. Eric explained the treatment process, gave me a quote, and had me scheduled via text by the end of the day for him to return for the treatment. The quote for the service was far cheaper than what my buddies told me they paid for similar services. And yes, this treatment comes with a five year warranty. They had to drill through a couple pavers to do the treatment. Eric placed the drill holes in the grout lines to better hide the holes. While it is pretty impossible to completely hide the holes after they're filled, I think he did a heck of a job and gave a great effort. Time will tell about how good the quality is of Desert Shield's product and process. However, I feel pretty confident I trusted the right guys for my termite treatment. Their previous reviews did not lie. This company was punctual, incredibly friendly, appeared knowledgeable, arguably cost effective, and communicated efficiently and without stress. I have already told friends and coworkers to let me know if they need termite treatment so I can refer these guys. If you are searching for termite treatment, your search is over. Side Note: If you have a project that needs to be completed, use the Yelp "project" service to send multiple requests and get messages back from multiple businesses at once. It makes life a lot easier.
