I was so excited to finally find both of the items I was looking for, especially when I found out the reasonably priced accessories were also on promo. I started wearing the hat every day in the coldest month of winter. So, when I dropped it in the metro station and couldn't find it again, I was really upset, especially because I knew I'd bought the last one in the store. But Cuir Mont Royal saved the day! I messaged them on Instagram, and, within an hour, they'd responded that they would do everything they could to get me the same hat. Just two days later, they reached out to tell me they'd found it for me, and that they were reserving it for whenever I could come into the store. They were so kind, helpful, and attentive! Truly the kind of customer service you only find in a local business like this one. On top of it all, their selection is unmatched. They have a vast but curated selection of high-quality, stylish products for all budgets. They even have a selection of unique gifts that celebrate the culture of Montréal. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They answered all my questions helpfully and in a very polite and friendly manner, so I could be sure I would receive well-fitting shirts. I was given a choice of international shipping rates and opted for the cheaper option which they warned me could take from four to six weeks to arrive. In fact, the goods were received in under two weeks all the way from Canada to Jersey, Channel Islands, even though I had opted for the cheaper, slower delivery. The goods were well-packed to protect them from damage in transit, and all arrived in perfect condition. The quality is excellent: better than I was expecting for the price paid. It's always been a go-to store for her and my dad, as it always has had the BEST basic wardrobe staples - and then some! - in sizing that FITS, and of excellent quality. It was just such a big bummer that my folks had to travel far and wide to get to any of their stores. And they had nightmare experiences, trying to order stuff from their website. It was important for them to actually try on the clothing. So it was great anticipation that we all waited for this store to open up in Montreal! I sent my mom status updates, on the store opening, for months before it opened, and she is just in heaven now that the store is in her city! I visited the store yesterday and even though I had read about it being the flagship Canadian store and all its features, I was still blown away by it. It is gorgeous! Huge, well laid-out, excellent signage, clean, open, spanning two levels. With all the excellent clothing for men, women and kids that they are known for. They have always had excellent sales, and right now, they are selling their winter jackets for a steal (and they are known for their winter jackets, along with base layers/thermal "Heat" layers). In fact, a lot of their winter gear is on sale right now, and they have an enormous selection of everything. So if you're in the market for cold weather clothing, you need to get there ASAP. All Uniqlo offer free hemming of their pants if they are too long on you (I've used this free feature a few times in their Seattle store. It was great!). I've gotten lots of clothes here and they've all withstood years of hard wear, so I'm a big fan. And now with this new, jazzy store, Montreal, you got it made!

Nothing is shipped on the promised ship date. Days later, received an email from the probable owner of the store that they actually don't have the model in stock and there is no ETA on the arrival date of next batch. Furthermore, when and IF it finally arrives, the price on the webpage was too low and needs to be raised by $25 for no reason besides "The price has gone up and we can't control it". The owner didn't even apologize or acknowledge that this practice is complete BS. 2) Various emails were exchanged to express my dissatisfaction of the situation. He explained the difficulties of keeping track of his +1 million dollar inventory and the fact that since they're selling it below the MSRP of the product, its fair game to raise it (ya because everyone knows that as long as the price of something you buy is lower than the MSRP of the producut, everyone is getting a killer deal). 3)Finally I agreed on the higher price and unknown ETA because of the fact that I would rather pay a couple of bucks more to support a Canadian business over foreign businesses. HERE'S THE ICING ON THE CAKE: he was nice enough to inform me that the new quoted price is not a firm price anymore! It might go up even more when it actually arrives because his supplier might charge him "fuel surcharge increase, ship rate increase, exchange rate increase and so on, the retail price will reflect any of these increases." (THESE ARE HIS ACTUAL WORDS!) 4) Gave up and bought the same model from another Canadian model store located in Toronto. For the same price as when I bought it originally from the GPM website. I don't know anyone who would've even gone past point 1 before cancelling the order. The level of frustration I received from this store is unimaginable. Please just avoid the possible headaches and avoid these guys at all cost. No wonder they have over 1 million dollar of stocks available. Who would ever buy anything from these guys is beyond me!?
