They also don't do drug testing on their employees, because one of our installers was "high" during installation, and the manager had to come pick him up from the job site. In addition....... I called them recently to get a repair price to replace several posts, and the quote was ridiculous compared to other well established companies in my area. I wouldn't let them build a dog house for me. The fence doors started warping within two months and is per pics in four! The wood looked cheap and was not smooth. I had a fence installed by another installer 4 years ago with hardly any warpage! You get what you pay for. He said we were getting a deal because we got him via another company. Really? I now have to pay for another fence opening. He also said my previous fence builder did the doors wrong. Really funny as we kept the doors and they are still not warped! Too bad they aren't wide enough! If u call him, you get BS. We tried leaving text messages and he said he would check it out in a few weeks...never showed, never called. And that was May of 2020! He has no business acumen...was constantly late or didn't show up. Always had an excuse. He was supposed to be at my home one day and just didn't show up. Finally I texted him - he said it was raining. I told him it wasn't raining where I live! He did not answer back. Do yourself a favor and NEVER use this man. at the same time he did my doors, he also did my neighbors doors, She had hers redone as her small dog kept getting under her old fence. Now he just walks through the warped one! Mind you, even before it warped, he could get through as fence was too high above the ground. she called and texted as I did...no response. We needed to swap out damaged panels and fully replace others for 70 feet of fencing, including one 4' wide single gate. The final result is a clean, professional install using the standard 4'H Aluminum Smooth Top - 3-Rail panel style, and it looks excellent. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Amanda was fantastic; she stayed in constant touch, gave clear information at every step, and kept everything wonderfully organized. Despite their quote being approximately 25% higher than competitors, I felt confident that the quality of workmanship would justify the price. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with those expectations. The crew installed approximately 100 defective pickets along with several problematic posts. I was told their installers had significantly more experience than those at other companies, which made it all the more frustrating that such obvious defects weren't caught and avoided during installation. While they did return to replace the posts, I was left wondering why those materials were used in the first place. To make matters worse, a 6x6 post was also questioned -- some professionals claimed it was acceptable, others said it was clearly defective. FIRST FENCE did eventually replace it, but not without multiple visits and conversations. While the fence does look good now, the process was far more stressful than it should have been. One of the main reasons I hired a premium company like FIRST FENCE was to avoid the headache of micromanaging a project. Unfortunately, I ended up doing just that. EDIT: Less than a year since install and already having gate failure in a low traffic area. The company is trying to charge $300 to repair the fence. apparently a gate used 2x weekly is too much and the gate is for just looking at and not using.

I asked for them to fix it and they came by and put dirt over the cement. Less than two months later the fence post caps have started to come off -- four so far have fallen off (pics attached). I emailed Johnathan about the cap issues and asked about the ten-year warranty that came with the fence. Instead of receiving an apology or coming out to properly affix the caps, he told me the caps don't typically come off and I would have to pay $100 for them to come out and fix it. Save your money and go elsewhere. While they claim they provide a ten year warranty for materials and workmanship, in practice it means nothing.
