I had a tattoo done at JP Alfonso studios by an artist named Fica we had multiple sessions planned. Time came for my next session and I try to contact Fica with no reply for month so finally I call the shop and they tell me Fica left and that my $600 was just gone. I got the vibe that they dont care about their clients just their money. They didn't care to rectify the situation so I'm out money because they hire shady artists. read more

I have a few small tattoos from the past and thought all tattoo shops or studios were the same. I was wrong. JP Alfonso Studios isn't like any other tattoo studio I've been to. This studio is an experience. Its beautiful set up is seen the moment you walk in. From the quartz counter tops of the front desk, to the frosted glass doors and windows to the staff who greets you, everything has a reason. Its not haphazardly thrown together like some studios. Its next level cleanliness for me was something I could truly see and appreciate. The tattoo I am currently working on with Taro from JP Alfonso Studios is 1/4 of my body and I am about 1/4 of the way through. To say the staff and product (tattoo) have exceeded my expectations is an understatement. I am 6 sessions in and I have another 10 or more to go and I look forward to them each time they come around. I wanted something that wouldn't be easily executed no matter who the tattoo artist was. Taro is truly, a master of his craft. Its not painful, the colors are bright and saturated. I get stopped 3-4 times a day asking where I got my tattoo and its not even completed yet. Also, every artist at Jp Alfonso is a master if their craft. The work I see while I'm there (usually for 8-9hours) is phenomenal. There is not a single tattoo to date that I've seen coming out of this studio that I've not admired. They're all turning out work that is dynamic and bold. It is truly, living art. Jp Alfonso Studios has developed a culture of well trained, highly talented tattoo artists and operations staff. To top it off, everyone is extremely nice. If you're wanting to work with professional artists and staff who are at the top of their game across the board, Jp Alfonso is the studio for you. I have found my tattoo shop! This place is absolutely amazing; the atmosphere and staff. April is working on my sleeve, 1 more session to go and I'm in love. She is super sweet, fun and professional. Alvin is a god! I had a really specific concept for my calf tattoos, and he worked with me every step of the way to make sure that the designs were how I wanted them. Restenciled multiple times for one of them to make the placement perfect. Ample breaks throughout the sessions and they're healing like a dream. Shop was really clean, too. Can't say enough good things about the studio and my artist. David Veil completed an excellent cover peice for me. He carefully listened to my goals and designed the tattoo of my dreams. He was light handed and could make easy small talk or just let me zone out. He payed attention to when I needed breaks and cheered me through. You can check his work out on Instagram. I saw Stephanie's work on a friend who HIGHLY recommended her, and I can tell you-I'm beyond thrilled! I had an IMMEDIATE response when I reached out to Stephanie, and that spoke volumes to me as a new client! She was able to book me quickly, and was a wealth of info! ~Studio: immaculate, staff so welcoming, friendly and accomodating! ~Stephanie is a perfectionist! THIS I so valued! It takes an amazing eye to see what we don't. I mean, we see our own imperfections close up, but, to have someone be even more obsessive....just. LOVE. The suggestions she made, the coloring, she was spot on! She made sure I was happy-not content-THRILLED and wasnt doing anything permanent until I was in love! She took before and after pictures, which I so valued so I can show my friends and see my progress. My 2nd visit I was so excited because I know she had worked so much on analyzing my brows for this visit to be sure they were perfect. I know eyebrows are definitely NOT twins, but she did make them! She corrected previous work, and the healing process was much easier than it had been in the past. To say I'm beyond pleased is an understatement.
