Taro's hands should be officially classified as the 8th wonder of the world. God created this man to do one thing and one thing only - to inject inks and pigments via a needle into the skin of thousands of people. He is not an artist of tattoos; he is the lord and savior of the entire tattooing industry. By the end of his career, he WILL be a household name in every shop across the world. Statues of Taro will be erected, parents will name their kids after him, and wars will be halted in the name of Taro. I propose right now that the current carvings on the side of Stone Mountain be smoothed over and immediately be replaced with the magnificent face of the Taro the Great. May God bless Taro. May God bless Vietnam. And may God bless the United States Of America! Amen.
I put my trust in Drew and wow did he do a good job. He took my very basic idea and made it so much better and full of artistry. I'm thrilled with the whole experience. The facility is alsothe most beautiful tattoo shop I've ever seen. Incredibly light, clean, and awesome staff. A perfect experience end to end.
Stop searching and go. I found April through Instagram and fell in love with her work. She's insanely amazing and talented. First time tattoo, she made me feel welcome and really helped me control my nerves. My ask for a tattoo was not super clear, but damn if April didn't deliver. I'm in the F&B industry, one tatted up, and everyone in my job was in awe over the detailed line work and how amazing my tattoo is. I'd like to take a very deliberate moment to talk about the cleanliness of this shop. Gloves changed constantly. All surfaces wiped down. And the artists are so courteous. (Doesn't have to do with cleanliness, but it contributes) Really am a+ shop!!!!! Will 100% return if/when I decide to go for #2
I just finished my second tattoo to Stani, and once again he exceeded my expectations! He possesses a truly unique ability to create works of art rather than tattoos. Both times I have worked with Stani, I gave him an idea and he put my idea into a beautiful expression. I have a number of tattoos and I on multiple occasions I have been stopped in the street with questions about my leg piece (and I direct them to Stani). Further, his professionalism is unparalleled. He has offered me on multiple occasions to touch up my work at no charge. To be completely honest, I have bounced around a bit with some really good artists but at this point I intend to only work with Stani going forward. He is a good dude, truly one-of-a-kind and so are his tattoos. O
Absolutely loved my time at JP Alfonso's Tattoo Studio. I got my eyebrows done by Stephanie and she was so professional and lovely. She walked me through all the steps and even explained all the amazing products she uses. I barely felt a thing and it was honestly so relaxing and wonderful. She gave my brows incredible shape, that I can't even achieve with makeup; now I have the best looking brows I've ever had! The amount of confidence that brings, it's amazing. If you've ever had the thought of getting them done, definitely go see Stephaine! She's so skilled and talented! I cannot wait to go back to get my lips done. 10/10 recommend!
I have a few small tattoos from the past and thought all tattoo shops or studios were the same. I was wrong. JP Alfonso Studios isn't like any other tattoo studio I've been to. This studio is an experience. Its beautiful set up is seen the moment you walk in. From the quartz counter tops of the front desk, to the frosted glass doors and windows to the staff who greets you, everything has a reason. Its not haphazardly thrown together like some studios. Its next level cleanliness for me was something I could truly see and appreciate. The tattoo I am currently working on with Taro from JP Alfonso Studios is 1/4 of my body and I am about 1/4 of the way through. To say the staff and product (tattoo) have exceeded my expectations is an understatement. I am 6 sessions in and I have another 10 or more to go and I look forward to them each time they come around. I wanted something that wouldn't be easily executed no matter who the tattoo artist was. Taro is truly, a master of his craft. Its not painful, the colors are bright and saturated. I get stopped 3-4 times a day asking where I got my tattoo and its not even completed yet. Also, every artist at Jp Alfonso is a master if their craft. The work I see while I'm there (usually for 8-9hours) is phenomenal. There is not a single tattoo to date that I've seen coming out of this studio that I've not admired. They're all turning out work that is dynamic and bold. It is truly, living art. Jp Alfonso Studios has developed a culture of well trained, highly talented tattoo artists and operations staff. To top it off, everyone is extremely nice. If you're wanting to work with professional artists and staff who are at the top of their game across the board, Jp Alfonso is the studio for you. The wait is worth it. The cost is worth it and the tattoo you received will be admired by anyone who can admire art.
I have found my tattoo shop! This place is absolutely amazing; the atmosphere and staff. April is working on my sleeve, 1 more session to go and I'm in love. She is super sweet, fun and professional. She made sure I was comfortable the whole time every session. She listened to what I wanted and worked with me. I couldn't have pictured a better tattoo! They take care of you. JP, the owner walks around, greets everyone at each station, looks at the work and compliments the artist and ask the clients how they are doing and if they need anything. This is impeccable service. Everyone goes above and beyond, you can tell safety and client satisfaction is their focus. I'm so happy I found April and JP Alfonso studio!
It was the PERFECT experience! April is amazing and I'm so so happy with the amazing art she did for me. The studio is so clean and comfortable. After moving out here from the other side of the country I am happy to say I have found my forever studio and can't wait to get another piece done!
JP Alfonso looks less like a tattoo studio and more like an upscale spa inside. Impeccably clean, incredible treatment of their clients (they gave me coffee AND bought me lunch!) and the best artists in the area. April met with me and turned my vision into something that exceeded my highest expectations. I could not be more thrilled with how it turned out. If you're looking for a high-class studio that does incredible, quality work definitely check out JP Alfonso. 10/10 would recommend to everyone I know.
I have gotten my whole sleeve done with David at this shop and all I can say is wow. I get so many daily compliments from my sleeve and give out his contact information all the time. David is such a great artist and person to work with. I can't wait to go back and get my next sleeve complete with him.
As good as it gets! Literally every single artist in the shop is outstanding! The shop is beautiful, CLEAN, and super professional. You get what you pay for people and they are artists!
I got an amazing piece of art and I am so lucky to be wearing it on my skin. I highly recommend my go to Favorite artist in ALL OF ATLANTA, STANI! Don't listen to all these bad fake google reviews. The dude is down to earth and extremely kind. He will lend a hand even if he's caught up in work. See for yourself go meet the guy instead of bashing him and his 5 star work.!!! And I've actually already set my second appointment for my next piece and honestly Can't hardly wait for it!!!
Alvin is a god! I had a really specific concept for my calf tattoos, and he worked with me every step of the way to make sure that the designs were how I wanted them. Restenciled multiple times for one of them to make the placement perfect. Ample breaks throughout the sessions and they're healing like a dream. Shop was really clean, too. I'll probably come back to him next time I want more done.

I cannot say enough about Alvin D. From the moment I contacted him, and from the moment of our initial consultation, Alvin was super professional and understood exactly what I wanted for my first tattoo. He spent eight solid hours with me in his chair. He made sure I was happy with every aspect of it. I cannot thank him enough for the incredible he did for me. read more

Can't say enough good things about the studio and my artist. David Veil completed an excellent cover peice for me. He carefully listened to my goals and designed the tattoo of my dreams. He was light handed and could make easy small talk or just let me zone out. He payed attention to when I needed breaks and cheered me through. You can check his work out on Instagram. His art really speaks for itself. The space was warm and welcoming, they offered me drinks and shared their take out. The shop is new, clean and professional. I can't speak to the other artists work, but over the course of being there for a few hours, I can tell you that everyone was courteous and had the upmost care for hygiene. My mom looks forward to getting a tattoo here when she visits Georgia. read more
