I love that there are minimal Arts and Crafts and the focus is on the fresh foods. Every Tuesday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. All the vendors are friendly and can offer advice if you need it. I do wish I would see more vegetables and fresh herbs. Some of the other vendors are Lavender, Pet Snacks, Fresh Breads and Baked Goods, and a local creamery that had ice creams by the pints. The last time I went there was a jewelry maker and knife-sharpening vendors. The fruit vendors offer samples of the fruit for you to taste. I can't wait to go back and get a variety of plumcots. Taped off floors with markers for lines and distancing, and vendors setup to manage it all with a smile! It was an absolute pleasure shopping at the market. We picked up some delicious strawberries, squash, figs, and corn! The tomatoes from Prema Farms were beautiful and delicious, and so was the honey sourdough they made! Crowds around 10am were light and it was a breeze to shop. Can't wait to return!

Cold springs community seems to be trying very hard to keep the community together by offering these types of events. Some things you can enjoy at the Cold Springs market is an assortment of food trucks. This time they had a gourmet cheese truck and Aloha shack. They also do jump houses and face painting for the kiddos. It's $25 for the Saturday to host a table as well. I think November is their last event until next year. Hopefully the word will get out and this event can grow larger for them.

They have a nice selection of cheeses. I had oodles of questions for them about their cheeses. After lots of discussion, I bought two small wedges. "That's a lot of work to sell two small pieces of cheese," I remarked. "Yes. It usually is," one of the owners sighed. They have the least expensive fruit here of any farmers market I've been to. Only $2 a pound. But it's only one fruit stand. And the meat booth sold lamb jerky. I've never had that before so I had to buy a bag of that. It was interesting. So while it's a small farmers market, it was a place I wanted to spend my money.

Meat - I picked up some brisket from this CA grass-fed pasture raised farm. Flowers - fresh flower bouquets Veggies & fruit - both organic and non - multiple farms. The organics ones are clearly displayed organic. Coffee vendor - I spied one vendor selling bags of coffee and one selling coffee drinks. Fish - Selling Ca fish from Monterey or that area. I would have loved to see other hot food purveyors, but overall a good mix of local-ish farms filling our bellies full of fresh and local food. Plenty of parking across the street and right off the bike path.
