While on vacation we had a hankering for ice cream! All along the road trip we tried to stop at random Mom & Pop places, but they either closed early, closed for the season, or were out of business! We read a review for Joyful Scoops, which sat in a farm and knew that was our next end of night stop! It did not disappoint! It was well lit, had lots of parking and was just cute as can be! I had the seasonal Pumpkin Patch and it was amazing! Hubs had a Hot Fudge Sundae and Daughter had the Coffee Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Both said they loved theirs! The ice cream is super creamy and so flavorful! Highly recommend!

Okay in all honesty, I heard a lot of great reviews from this place even my mom so I had to try it out. Went with my family in the afternoon and it wasn't too busy which was great, and there was a beautiful sunset to gaze at. Plus- a bunch of stray kittens & a cat which I believe was their mother, cute company. So the ice cream. First off, really good ice cream, if you get the right flavors. I got PB Crunch which was no good in my opinion, and Snickers which I've had better. Everyone else's was pretty good (mainly vanilla chocolate chip, coffee oreo, peppermint & pistachio). They filled the ice creams to the brim, like too much to the point they all overflowed immediately when handed to us in the heat, and melted everywhere, creating a really sticky mess. A small side note, I also wish they gave a little more when you ask to try a flavor because I feel like I was given a spec. I will give them another try, but they were just a tiny bit pricey too, about $40 for 3 ice creams

Always an amazing experience at joyful scoops! Counting down the days until I can enjoy another cone!

This little ice cream shop off 105, away from downtown Middleborough, is such a gem. We've found the quality of their ice cream superior to other nearby places. They source it from Acushnet Creamery. It's perfect for kids and grownups alike.

Service was subpar. The ice cream was average! Overall disappointing, people had hyped it up and it just didn't deliver!

The ambiance has a nostalgic charm, updated just enough to feel fresh without losing that comforting neighborhood vibe. The menu sticks to the classics--veal parm, spaghetti and meatballs, eggplant parm--the kind of fare you expect and appreciate. While it doesn't quite reach the level of homemade pasta and authentic dishes you'd find in Boston's North End, it's solid, satisfying food. A nice touch: warm Italian bread served in a paper bag--simple, smart, and it stays warm throughout the meal. The homemade soups were excellent. Both the minestrone and chicken orzo were hearty, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. The eggplant fingers appetizer didn't quite live up to my expectations, but they were crispy, not greasy, and still had a good flavor. The kids' spaghetti came simply with butter and Parmesan cheese--classic, but a bit heavy on the butter this time. The meatball sub was a hit, served on a proper Italian roll with a good balance of meat, sauce, and bread. Service was a highlight. All the staff were friendly and attentive, and our server was especially outstanding--she even retrieved my granddaughter's favorite bracelet after it fell behind the booth. Above and beyond! Overall, Lorenzo's is a dependable local spot with a homey feel, traditional Italian comfort food, and excellent service. A great place for a casual, satisfying meal with family.

The service is also hit or miss, very attentive or you see your server every 20 min. Last night four of us there for dinner, good food, smaller portions, poor service. We noticed several servers hanging around the side room talking and laughing including ours while we we were looking for more drinks and desert. Who is managing the dining room's?

I've been to other Fiesta locations but this taqueria is head and shoulders above the rest. The menu has tacos, burritos, bowls, salads, quesadillas and a few other options available but keeps it simple with the essentials and doesn't run the risk of menu overload. The chips, guacamole and salsa are always a good way to start off things when you order from Fiesta Taqueria. I generally gravitate toward the burrito or bowl and I can assure you that the carnitas at Fiesta Taqueria is perhaps some of the best you'll find. It's always fresh tasting and expertly cooked and when in a burrito or a bowl is the protein of choice you should be going for while at Fiesta. Jarritos sodas are a perfect addition for the Mexican food; be sure to give the pineapple one a try to help balance out the heat from the salsa. Though there are some seats available, most folks grab Fiesta for takeout orders and when ordering from there orders have always been available on-time as noted when ordering. Parking out front can be a bit of a challenge so park in the town parking lot behind Fiesta for much easier access in and out.
