Terrible. Day after day when dropping my daughter off I would hear teachers Being snappy and rude to the kids. At 8am I hate to think how they were at 4 or 5. Then the second time I saw two different teachers pulling children by their arms I pulled my daughter out after only one month. After speaking to the pastor he proceeded to tell me basically I was lying because his teachers don't treat the student that way. And everyone has "bad days". Two things. This wasn't an isolated event I was seeing this behavior repeatedly and 2. I don't care how bad your day you don't put your hands on a child for any reason EVER. My son has been going to this daycare since he was 1 & 1/2 years old. He's an only child so we wanted him to learn to interact with other children. I am very pleased with the standard of care he has received. The administrator is very involved with kids and is genuinely cares about all of the kids. I would and do recommend this facility to others. read more

Great looking from the outside but inside does not match!! First of all it took us awhile to decide to put our little one in daycare. After several visits to Joyful Beginnings beforel and after the birth of our baby. Now. almost nine months later our daycare needs changed and we found ourselves forced to put our baby in a day care. Went to Joyful Beginnings and spoke with the Director, she showed us around the facility, everyone was all smiles. We paid a Summer registration fee.(this was my third trip that day to this place) We were assured by the Director that by doing this it would hold a spot for our baby during the summer. She said she could understand what a difficult decision it was that we were making . She gave us the receipt and I filled out a from regarding what day our baby was going to start. I informed the Director that I still wasn't sure about sending our baby to daycare and I also was not sure of a true schedule. She again assured us that she understood the difficult decision we were making and to call her with any further questions. I called the facility approximately one week later to let them know that we were going to be bringing our baby in. The person on the phone was rude and told me that they needed to know exactly what our schedule was going to be. I informed her that at this point I didn't know. But that we signed up for M-F 8-5. She seemed delighted to hear that. Then her attitude changed. Even though I dealt with that rude person it didn't deter us from sending our baby there because the individual that was going to actually be caring for our baby was so wonderful. We took our baby on a Friday. Dad and I both dropped in through out the day, remember this was our baby's first day in daycare. Tracey you ROCK!! First day. .. Dad and I survived. Day off Monday so baby didn't go to daycare. Received a call from Joyful Beginnings telling me that we could not take our baby back because there was no room for him. That someone else had come in and paid full tuition. I told this person about our conversation with the Director and this person responded that the Director was out due to having surgery. This rude employe did not care at all about what the Director had told us. I told Dad. He had gone over to daycare later that day .Spoke to the infant teacher she didn't understand why we being treated like this. She said she would share our concerns with the Director and ask her to contact us. We left a phone number. We never heard from the Director. The next day Dad went to the daycare and what do you hnow... the Director was there she told dad she would look into things and call us back. Again, we have never heard from the Director. So, not only do we not have daycare for our baby but we feel even more apprehensive about sending our infant to any daycare at all. We are left with the feeling that we were just a dollar sign. read more
