I'm hoping the rest of the firm is good, but my experience with Sarah Whatley was awful…read more 1) Her paralegal was constantly asking me for the same items over and over and seemed confused on what was needed for the case. 2) They didn't follow my recommendation on when and how to serve my husband and that caused them to get multiple servers and I had to pay for numerous times of them trying to serve him at places that I told them would not be successful. Because of them refusing to vary from their typical practice (even though I told them we'd need to) we had to file for a continuance of our hearing. As soon as I talked to the processor directly, he was served the very next day. 3) Ms. Whatley argued with me telling me it was my fault he wasn't served and belittling me when I told her that they needed to think outside of the box (since he doesn't work standard hours) and she justified her actions saying that she's never had a problem in the past. 4) They never sent me one bill for 6 months so I knew how much of my retainer was being used. I only received it when asking for a full copy of my file and I specifically asked for it. 5) Right before I changed council due to so many issues, she told me that she needed more money (already paid $7,500 and we didn't even accomplish anything on the case--only serving when I took them out of the picture). 6) After obtaining new council, Sarah failed to file the proof of service with the court so we had to file another continuance because she failed yet again costing me more time and money. 7) She cannot think beyond the standard basic scenario and refuses to believe that maybe alternate steps need to be taken and that each case may be different. I would highly recommend not using her unless you want to deal with a lot of frustration.

I've never had an attorney that had nothing to say when it came to trail, that treated me like I was just another number and tried to forcibly make me quit my job because a workers comp claim. The company I work for wanted me to quit so I guess Brandon felt like it was his obligation to hop on the band wagon with them and offer me a horrible settlement and tell me to quit my job. It was then when I told him I don't want to lose my job and I won't take any offer that he has unless it involves me working again. Then he finally succumbed and put in the request that I return back to work only because I demanded it. He was supposed to represent me, but it certainly felt like he represented the company I was after for the workers comp claim. The value of this firm has dropped for me when I felt like I had a knife in my back. If I could give less than one Star I would. Glad others had a great experience though
