If it were possible to give this company less stars I would've. After hiring Ryan to handle my…read moredivorce and mediation associated with it I was let down in every possible way. Normally this would've been a smooth transaction as a few of my friends have a luck with other attorneys in Myrtle beach however this wasn't the case at all. Starting with there being discrepancies in my billing with double and triple charges and calling to discuss it with his paralegal who would simply yell and refuse to be of any help at all and then bill me for asking about my bill with no resolution on either end. A large portion of the issues with my services revolved around the absolute worst customer service I've ever had in my life from Cindy, a paralegal with the firm. Another great point to point out is what happened due to certain circumstances put into action during my mediation with Ryan representing me. After he insisted on putting wording in that read as vague in our agreement I am now driving 32hrs round trip every time I want to see my daughter even if just for the weekend with my ex wife doing none whatsoever. It has since went back to court and been read as ambiguous wording at our mediation in her favor. Any attorney who has looked at this says this alone has cost me thousands if not more after relieving Ryan as my attorney with the end result being me not seeing my daughter because of this. This company does not care about you or your family, only the money you bring to the table for you to spend. If you value yourself, morals, your money or anything involving your family I would not do any business with this firm.

If I can save even one father from going through what I did, then writing this is worth it. One of…read morethe biggest regrets of my life was hiring Indigo Family Law. I understand every custody case is different, but I truly believe that if I had hired any other law firm, it would not have taken over 3 years just to get in front of a judge and fight to see my daughter. My case began with Ryan Stampfle, who turned out to be a nightmare. He has zero people skills and made things worse by recommending actions that actually hurt my case. Eventually, he stopped working on it and passed me off to Katlin Floyd and Brana, which only added to the frustration. Communication was awful -- I'd wait days or even a week just for a simple response. If you think they'll help you file motions or get you into court -- forget it. They refused to act. The only reason I even got into a courtroom is because my ex-wife agreed to sign a new agreement right before trial. I went along with it only because I had completely lost confidence in Katlin and Brana representing me at trial. I also sat through a deposition where both Katlin and Brana were vaping -- during the deposition -- something that was deeply unprofessional and incredibly embarrassing. The worst part? Katlin seemed to be best friends with my ex-wife's attorney. Instead of fighting for me, she constantly relied on "off the record conversations" instead of filing motions or taking real legal action. My case needed a fighter. I got people who just wanted to talk things out over coffee. This law firm has cost me tens of thousands of dollars and years of my life I will never get back. I just fired Indigo Family Law, and it was the best decision I've made in this entire process. If you're a father -- if you love your kids -- please do not hire Indigo Family Law. Read the negative reviews. I am not the only one who went through this. Learn from my experience, and save yourself the heartbreak and wasted time.

This was during the beginning of covid and he always made himself available to us by phone or online meetings. His office staff is very friendly and knowledgeable as well. I would recommend Morris Law Firm to anyone needing a good, experienced law firm that puts the clients best interests ahead of their own.

I'm hoping the rest of the firm is good, but my experience with Sarah Whatley was awful…read more 1) Her paralegal was constantly asking me for the same items over and over and seemed confused on what was needed for the case. 2) They didn't follow my recommendation on when and how to serve my husband and that caused them to get multiple servers and I had to pay for numerous times of them trying to serve him at places that I told them would not be successful. Because of them refusing to vary from their typical practice (even though I told them we'd need to) we had to file for a continuance of our hearing. As soon as I talked to the processor directly, he was served the very next day. 3) Ms. Whatley argued with me telling me it was my fault he wasn't served and belittling me when I told her that they needed to think outside of the box (since he doesn't work standard hours) and she justified her actions saying that she's never had a problem in the past. 4) They never sent me one bill for 6 months so I knew how much of my retainer was being used. I only received it when asking for a full copy of my file and I specifically asked for it. 5) Right before I changed council due to so many issues, she told me that she needed more money (already paid $7,500 and we didn't even accomplish anything on the case--only serving when I took them out of the picture). 6) After obtaining new council, Sarah failed to file the proof of service with the court so we had to file another continuance because she failed yet again costing me more time and money. 7) She cannot think beyond the standard basic scenario and refuses to believe that maybe alternate steps need to be taken and that each case may be different. I would highly recommend not using her unless you want to deal with a lot of frustration.
