One crushed and sniffed a whole bottle of pills, while the other took more than 1 bottle with alcohol ( not all prescribed by Belfiore). Now, bc the federal govt can't pin it on the pharma opioid manufacturer, they're trying to pin it on the doctors unfairly. According to what is learned in medical school, if someone claims to be in pain, drs are legally supposed to offer pain meds. These 2 patients clearly committed suicide. He was my grandfather's doc, and I chose him as my primary because... well let's face it.. if gramps made it okay to age 88, then maybe the doc is doing something right? Anyway, how much can you really say about a doctor? I don't get sick often, so i don't see him often. I do know he genuinely cares about his patients, though. I'd imagine between taking my grandfather here, and seeing the doc myself on occasion, I've probably been here twice as much as anyone else. He doesn't have the most current equipment, but he has everything he needs to get the job done. Good enough for me. His years of experience in the field mean more to me than fancy equipment. Dr. Schwartz is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.

I left several messages and finally got a call 2 weeks later. Now is the second time I am waiting for the doctor (or nurse) to call me back and haven't been able to do this for 4 days. 4 days to get a call back from a doctor or nurse? I've called every single day. The nurse called me back from a unlisted number, left a message and that was it. crickets. And when I call the front desk, although nice, they say "That's odd, we usually respond sooner than that." This is my second such experience, so I don't believe that. I also started coming to this office soon after it opened and do remember the staff problems before... Although they move slowly, I believe the interaction has gotten better by the staff. Waiting times have gotten longer. I spend a lot of time in the waiting room and in the patient room waiting to see the doctor. With the problems I describe unfortunately I haven't been able to find a better option in the area. But as soon as I do, i'm out. O, almost forgot, although they have a nice online portal, messaging doctors on site is futile. Crickets.
