I paid $35 for a fishing boat for the day. In addition, there is swimming, volleyball, basketball, and baseball free of charge! Just bring your own equipment. Jackie the owner was amazing she was there from moment one we showed up. Called us once a day to make sure we were ok and see if we needed anything. The parking is ample (and paid) and has space for horse trailer parking as well. As I arrived at the main area I took a moment to review the board. The board educated me that there were multiple trail options. Also, the routes vary by skill level and miles. I was so excited. As today was my non-gym day I decided to go for the Yellow Trail as it is Moderate in effort and is 3-4 miles. I was slightly confused at first, however, there was an entry to the trail towards the back of the parking area. Once I found it, it was all go from there. LoL! The trail was easy to follow as the path is easily identifiable. The woods are quiet and personal. There was a sense of peace as I was walking through the woods. The different levels of elevation provide for an enhanced view of the general area. I'm talking absolutely gorgeous. The spots of water provide a moment of serenity as you get lost in the sounds of water going down the stream. The path was fun as it was up, down, and all around. I had a blast. Truly, a blast. As I was getting to the end I got lost. lol. Thanks to All Trails for tracing my route as I was able to retrace my steps. Next time I'll pay better attention to where I parked so I can know where to go back to. Ha!! Today was amazing. Great air. Great trail. Great time.

I walked the trail for 30mins which was great! It has nice size little hills and the view is just a normal small forest, lol. This was my first time here, and I'm glad I came across this spot a few months back, and today I decided to stop. The general objective of a covered bridge design is to provide a cost-effective, functional, safe, and durable crossing. Although I think there are exceptions and this one basically goes nowhere being it was repurposed and preserved for all of us to enjoy it's not really being used as it was originally intended it is a beautiful structure and if you've never driven across one of these magnificent structures here's your opportunity. I've visited a number of these historic and nostalgic bridges over time, and it's always a thrill when they still allow traffic to pass. This one lane wonder requires one too pay close attention since you are required to straddle the center of the bridge with your wheels along a path of rough cut lumber. If you really want to connect with this structure you must walk across it using the original designated pedestrian side of the bridge, you can feel the strength of the design and appreciate the workmanship of those that created this beautiful piece of art...
