Some details: Easy for walking no hills Walkable or rideable for bike lovers or mobile scooter riders. Quiet and quaint area. Natural wildlife are present but not overwhelming The ducks were so adorable Easy parking and it's free Shading along the path I wish they kept the seating a bit more maintained so i could sit instead of standing when I wanted to pause but it is nice over all. There's also a round canopy but it didn't seem well maintained either. Hopefully if you rent space for an occasion you can request a refresh before using this part of the lake. Overall I'd go again!

I love visiting it with my husband just before sunset. We saw so many kids playing in the spider web climbing thing and the play area. There was a birthday party going on and the park was filled with folks of all ages. Trails: A little walk on the left leads you to the dam(falls) and it's a very quiet and serene path to walk or jog. There are 2-3 trails around the park but a bit rugged, so I recommend going when there's plenty of daylight. Parking spots are plenty and the park is pet-friendly. Fun fact: Atlanta Astronomy Club conduct star gazing events at this park. Check their website for more information!

The restrooms by the playground were clean and spacious! The playground was large and fun and offered minimal shade. We drove out and around to the water front to hike the loop trail which was such a joy. We saw so many lovely animals and ran into some lovely locals who shared stories of animal run ins while at the park. The barn you walk through could use some love it was a little spooky haha overall we would come back in a heart beat! It's a beautiful natural oasis!

You cannot miss it. However, you may miss the road or entrance to view. It's going downwards to get to one side, but the other side is another road that you will easily miss! I had to ask someone. Free. Small parking space. I actually see two barns. I didn't go inside. I saw several photographers there doing their job and didn't want to interrupt them. Not busy at all, just us and then one other dog walker just before we left. They have portable bathrooms. Can't go inside the mill building or anything, at least on a normal day, but still neat to look at and get some outdoor time. Peaceful and worth the pitstop.
