A great place near the Old Town Square for a tasty burger, accompanied by great fries. Service was exceptionally quick, food was a better burger than I can find in many US burger places, manager (owner) and waiter were attentive, friendly, and gladly accepted our requests for no mayo but mustard on the burgers. Fried were fresh, tasty, and would have been a meal in themselves. Definitely a place to stop on my next trip to Praha. read more

Man oh man.... joy Burger really surprised me here. As a group of hungry girls made our way into this place, we were all a little hesitant about this place. I order the Mexican chicken burger which came with guac and salas on it. It was so flavorful and delicious I forgot what part of the country I was in. We also got a bucket of fries which we shared. Really good burger. I got the Mexican Chicken which was perfectly spiced and perfectly cooked. This place charges for sauces which is weird since in US never changes for ketchups and hot sauce. Apple cider was delicious. The burger reminds me of back home. I will be back for sure. read more

This place is truly amazing for anybody out there that loves good burgers and great service. The choice of meat is nice, where else can you get a burger with a duck meat patty? Insane! I did however stick to beef and was not disapointed. My 160g patty (Meat comes in 160g patty size, but you can double or triple it) was wonderfully medium, tasty and well paired with the cheese & roasted onions on top. The bun was fresh and didn't fall apart in my hands. The staff is friendly, everyone speaks english well & are able to ask questions. Plus, this place is relatively cheap compared to some burger places I've seen here, so just go for it! read more

So we give this place a try and yikes. Embarrassingly horrible.Let's start with some flat beer and overpriced salsa guacamole chips (they forgot to add tomatoes to the two tablespoons of guacamole deciding to term this salsa) They even burnt the tortilla chips (attempting to roast in some trendy fashion) to then chase that up with a pork chop advertised at 300 g that upon arrival was 75 g at best. There is no salt or pepper on the table, (or any table in the establishment ) yet they spent a fortune on decor. Classic Czech trendy start up restaurant error. A poser Santa Monica vibe if you will- with hiked prices and micro portions. Fraud if you are extra critical and honest to what is stated on the menu to what you get. Let's ask for an Internet connection and get three different Wi-Fi passwords since we were waiting one hour 23 minutes to cook a pork chop and a salad fit for a mouse. Dining Date March 26, 2105 for dinner. Not your typical American burgers, so I was a bit conservative with my selection. There are duck burgers, lamb burgers and salmon burgers, but I stuck with a beef burger with cheddar, bacon and chipotle mayo. Burger was very tasty and I washed it down with a Pilsner Urquell. Great burger joint in Old Town. Burgers run about $10 USD and sides about $2 USD. Big beers are about $2.40 USD. Good portions, great service, good pricing. Would dine here again for sure. We had 4 adults, 1 child and got 5 burgers, two sides and each of us had a drink for only $53 USD. Killer deal! read more

We didn't expect much from Joy Burger but we were in the area and starving so we gave them a try for lunch. The burgers were surprisingly good for an European restaurant versus what I'm used to getting at home. The fries were oddly cut but still fresh and hot. Service was good and the place was packed by the time we left with both locals and tourists. read more

Decent food but far overpriced for the quality. Waitstaff was also terrible and the main reason for this low rating. Our waiter for our side disappeared for a good 20 minutes after seating us and getting our drinks, during which time the other waiter refused to even make eye contact with us (difficult for such a small restaurant). When he did come back we finally flagged him down and tried to order sweet potato fries, we were told they were out, no problem we ordered a substitute. Only to see a table next to us after we were finished with our meal bring out sweet potato fries. Ok food, not worth the struggle for any service. read more

Horrible place to eat at. The second we walked in, the man gave us an attitude. We asked to be seated on the left side of the restaurant, not next to the door but the waiter just says no without an explanation so we had a staring contest for a good minute. Then one of us asks why and he goes "it's closed off". We sit down and we're told we can only order burgers. Ok. My friend and I wanted the Mexican chicken burger but they said they don't have that anymore. They should've told us the second we walked in instead of us having to find out after we're seated and ordering. The burger wasn't that good. My friend wasn't done eating and the girl gives us our bill. She said we're closing soon so we quickly paid. Then we glanced over to the other table of guys who just walked in and got their food. How are they serving them when they're closing soon and they did not even rush them. I decided to go on yelp to see when this place closes and it says closes in an hour. So what's the rush? The food wasn't good, the people weren't nice and we felt rushed. Usually we would tip but I don't think they deserve it. read more

A welcome addition to the Prague burger scene. Very warm, informal and friendly atmosphere that also feels professional - mainly due to the staff, who are attentive and organized. Started with the wings, which were okay (a bit sweet). Then on to a classic cheddar beef burger, which was super juicy, had very fresh ingredients, and a great bun. Finished with the cheesecake, kind of a tart, really, which was pretty good, thoigh ot was the berry compote that really made it. Overall, the food is good but somehow misses being great (maybe a bit more seasoning?) and it's not the cheapest place (all the above, plus fries and a cola, was 500kc). The portions are tad small for the price. But the service is first rate and the atmosphere one you want to spend time in (open kitchen, wood and brick interior, fairly cool Spotify playlist going on - though at these prices, they could spring for the paid version and spare us diners the Spotify free version ads). A good lunch spot or for a quick bite before a film or play. I will certainly come back and try some of their other offerings (duck burger!) read more

In general this is a great place. The burgers were large and tasty. The beer was just wonderful - and I am not a big beer drinker. The place seems to be recently remodeled in a very trendy modern style. Staff is young and hip. And they were open late on Xmas eve which was great. There were a few slight issues which lower my rating from 5 to 4.5. 1. They took forever to deliver our drinks, then even longer to bring the food. We saw people come after we arrived, order their food, and finish it, and we had still not been served yet - and we had a simple order of one hamburger, one salad, and mashed potatoes. When I asked the manager very nicely if they has forgotten about us, he essentially told me to go sit down and wait for the waiter - whom was not seen again for 30 minutes. The manager himself finally saw our food was ready and brought it over. 2. No table water. The pepsi was in a micro bottle, kinda flat, and no ice. 3. Although not super expensive, it was a bit expensive - with burgers from $11-15 - more expensive than most places in the US, and the cost of living much cheaper in Prague. A burger here costs more than an entire main dish at many other Prague restaurants. Overall, it was a satisfying meal - compared to the crappy tourist restaurants, and the trendy but tiny portion places. read more

Rude staff. The place looks nice from the outside but the staff is rude. The burgers are dry and over priced. I suggest if you are a tourist in Prague like us, go somewhere else because there are better places to go and nicer people to serve u. Don't ruin your evening with bad service and rude staff. read more
