When returning to the workforce after being home with my kids for about 3 years I must have toured…read moreand interviewed about 25 daycares in the area. I randomly came upon The Cottage one day while driving, I stopped in and was greeted by Dana, the then owner, she was more than happy to give me a tour and introduce me to the teachers each of my children would have. I was instantly in love with the place, it is a school atmosphere, they don't just stick 20 kids in a room and let them go buckwild. Since then The Cottage has been taken over by new owners, Elle and Dustin, who are amazing and very diligent in dealing with any needs or concerns you have. The school has been recently renamed to The Cottage Education and Learning Acadamy, because it is more than just a daycare. Each class has curriculum type schedules, which include Science and Spanish, and parents are always informed of what is being worked on that particular week to keep it going at home. The teachers are amazing and always have the child's best interest at heart. If you are looking for the best school in the area, The Cottage is worth your time to stop and tour. Of course it costs a little more than your average day care, but isn't that the point, it isn't your average daycare! Children remember and learn the most in their youngest years and will carry their experiences with them forever, why not give them the best you can and you will find that at The Cottage!

I don't like writing bad reviews, but this is a must. I am writing this review as a warning to…read moreparents. I should have known this would be a bad fit since the first day. The first day, I walked in and one of the staff was yelling at the kids like it was military school. The next week, another parent took my daughters shoes home, and my daughter was sent home without shoes. No apology. Multiple times my daughter came home with dirty underwear (as if they didn't wipe her butt) and a horrible red rash. Of the next couple of months, my daughter started becoming reluctant of going to school. Came to the point that every time we would leave to go there, she would start crying and saying she didn't like that school. I talked to her main care taker as well as wrote another email to the director of her behavior. There was no response from the director and one of the staff said she would try to help. A month ago they made my daughter eat lunch and spend half the day with a different class, none of which was brought to my knowledge till my daughter kept crying saying she didn't want to go to the 'big side'. I wrote yet another email to the director and she didn't apologize for anything. Just basically said that it was close to her moving. Every time I went to that school, the director was in her office, didn't bother to greet anyone, when I did see her in passing she acted stuck up. The directors set the tone of their staff, and it reflected horribly here. My daughter isn't the only one who would throw a tantrum in being dropped off either. When I gave my notice, the directors assistant was there and all she asked was if I was caught up in my payments. No apology or asking if something was wrong. Even wrote an email to the director and nothing... now my daughter goes to a new daycare, one week in and she LOVES it, every time we leave she says she likes it and gives them al hugs. Pricing is fair, staff treat our children with kindness and respect, our children look forward to going to school every morning. As of this review we have been bringing our children here six months and could not be more pleased.

We recently relocated today the CDA and were lucky enough to find a spot in CDA Learning Center…read more Our son adjusted rather quickly to this new daycare, especially considering how bonded he was with his previous child care provider. Cassie and her staff are incredible- not only do they keep you up to date on how your child is adjusting, they actually take the time to learn your child's personality and bond with them. They do art projects with the children and I can honestly say now that our son is with children his own age, he has learned so many new skills. I can't say enough positive things about Cassie and her team!

I have been nothing but impressed with CDA Learning center. My daughter has started to talk more, explore, and has displayed more confidence since starting here. The teachers and Cassie genuinely care about the children. They are actively engaged in their positive development- my daughter has had more arts and craft activities in a single week at CDA learning center- then in the total six months with TWO OTHER daycares! They get a lot of playtime outside as well! My daughter has been following direction more at home too! When I drop her off- the teachers are genuinely happy to see her- and she is so happy there as well!!
