We have had Joshua tree service trim our ordematel apple trees. Approximately 144 trees. They did a great job. We also had them take down 4 pine trees that blew over in the storm. They grounded the stumps and cleaned all the debris up. What a great experience to deal with a company that takes care of their customers. Thank you & will be seeing you next year. A neighbor recently hired Joshua's Tree Service to do extensive trimming at their house. In the process Joshua's "experts" also removed most of the lower branch network from one of my trees bordering our properties leaving me very distressed over the excessive pruning they'd done at my neighbor's behest. Worth mentioning is the crew's supervisor also presumptuously parking his truck in my driveway blocking access to my home without seeking permission to do so, nor obtaining prior consent to be working on my property. - Remember, Joshua's was contracted by my neighbor. -- Upon angrily confronting Joshua's supervisor he became rude and belligerent, further exacerbating our problem, at which point I lost any remaining tolerance for this contractor's behavior. The laughable moment here was Joshua's crew supervisor verbally taunting me with his juvenile refrains of "I wasn't gonna do nuthin' about it". - Well, this yelp review is proof positive the gentleman was sadly mistaken. I would not recommend Joshua's Tree Service to anyone and this contemptible contractor shall never again set foot upon my property. read more

Joshua Tree came this morning at the request of our neighbor. We share a long private drive that is a two track. Only one car can be on it at one time, one lane drive with few pull overs. Joshua Tree did not come to our residence to inform us what they were doing on the drive. They blocked the drive while they cut on property that did not belong to the neighbor. The property is municipal government property. We had not received a letter from our local government that this was happening legality. We asked the Joshua Tree guy what was going on. He would not say who had hired him and if he had permission from the township. No answer, just kept cutting and hauling. We called the police, they arrive; land owner and contractor showed up, all apologize, damage already done. Joshua Tree moved onto neighbors land and cut where they were suppose to be, on his property. Employee was rude, would not stop cutting. No common sense, and no apology from him. read more

These people were amazing. The price was fair, the work impeccable. The guy who did the cutting (TOM) was an artist, repeatedly asking for the opinion of his coworkers about how the cut looked...that was amazing. The team cleaned up everything (even blew the driveway clean), cleaned and cut some of the logs into 16" lengths for the fireplace (they'll also take them if you want), chipped up what we didn't want....polite, fast, hardworking, aesthetically interested. They worked around cable and other lines without damaging them. This was a great company. They did two houses with a lot of cutting in one morning. We live more than 50 miles from their home office which did not affect the price. They are insured etc. I really can't compliment them enough. read more

In searching for a "quality" tree cutting and stumping service, I contacted approximately a dozen companies in the area. Most of the companies called back, however, this company called back, came out next day to bid the job, and also gave me a realistic time frame as to when they would be available. They have the proper equipment and manpower to reach the very tall branches and trees with big roots. (My tree was probably 3 stories tall) They arrived about 15-20 minutes early, and it took a full day (with full crew ) to get the tree down safely with out damaging our house or yard. They finished up just as it was getting dark (note February has shorter daylight time). Everything was cleaned and raked up as promised, price was very fair, and service was excellent. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality tree service. Thank you. mj read more

We had a very big tree broken by a strong storm on our backyard. The tree also broke other trees and was hanging on other trees. The situation was pretty complex. We called to several tree services. Mich from Joshua's tree services arrived in a couple hours after out call. His estimate appeared pretty reasonable - it was about twice as as less as the previous estimate - of course it was not cheap (:-). So we were thinking not too much - called to Johua's tree service in a couple hours - and they were able to do the tree removal next day ! We had some doubts when the next day a team of young men arrived. But this team appeared VERY dedicated. In 4 hours they cut the tree ( that was pretty dangerous and not easy job ) and removed all the pieces. They used only hand cart to remove very big chunks - so our neighbor's backyard was not damaged at all. And they put sheets of thick plywood on the ground - to minimize this damage. They cleaned the area very thoroughly. So we are very satisfied by their service and would definitely recommend this company read more
