I visited in September 2019 while on an Arizona (Grand Canyon) trip with my friend. We stayed in…read morethe city of Flagstaff so on a Friday after breakfast, we took an hour to explore downtown Flagstaff. My friend Melanie wanted to look for small gems (or Crystals?) for her boyfriend so we stopped into the store. INSIDE - this is a cool store with all sorts of ornament looking things. They sell pottery, jewelry, natural hair and skin products, carvings, herbs, spices, and tea. My friend bought a small elephant shaped stone thing for her boyfriend. I don't know the exact name for it but it looked cool. I ended up buying a small packet of loose leaf ginger tea with a tea sifter. The tea didn't taste good and it wasn't as strong as I would have liked. I love that the big paintings and stone carvings are made by local artists. SERVICE - Service was warm and pleasant. The young man who helped us while inside was nice. If you're a tourist visiting Flagstaff and you are looking for a unique store, then I recommend Winter Sun Trading. **** - 166 total reviews in 2019 - 375 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 29 December 2019

I was very reluctant to leave them, and I even cried when telling Ryan about these rings and their sentimental value to me. He was very understanding, and cared for them as if it was his own families rings. Since this time, we have become friends. He truly does treat his customers like family though, if any issue arises, he quickly takes care of it (not that I had any issues at all, but I've heard from others). He makes sure that everyone is completely satisfied and happy. I can't thank him enough for how he took care of my rings, and made them look so beautiful for me. I didn't want to straighten anything as I wanted it how my grandma had them, I just simply wanted them a to for me and be a white color. Also, the pricing was super good!! Thank you Ryan, you know I'll be back with any jewelry needs.

It's quaint, unique, and feels like a hidden gem everyone secretly knows about. What makes it extra special are the handwritten staff reviews on select books. Like actual little love notes telling you why you need to read something. It's way more fun than just reading the synopsis and it feels personal, and thoughtful. They also sell, adorable book accessories, kids' toys, and other cute knick knacks. There's even a small sale section, reasonably priced books, and some signed copies that are clearly marked. It's right by downtown, so super convenient, but definitely try to get there early because parking garages and street spots can fill up fast on weekends. Overall, it's giving cozy, and I truly loved how much personality those handwritten reviews added. It just made the whole experience feel extra special and memorable.

What a nice bookstore! I am really glad that Flagstaff has a bookstore with a diverse selection of…read moreauthors and novels. Pricing for books is what's on the cover/retail and the employees are really nice and helpful here. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the selection isn't as big as I'd like. I found nearly all my favorite authors or authors I'm interested in reading and yet I only found either their less popular titles or 1-2 books from that author (which I either already had or was a sequel to a novel I haven't read yet). I just ended up buying a single book, which I guess is better than nothing but it would've been nice to walk out with at least 3. Anyway, aside from that, it's a nice store and definitely a good place to check out!
