I love that they continue to expand services - if you rent their boats, they will help you clean your catch and boil the crabs. The cafe is awesome! Great beverages and baked goods. Now they offer trash pick up service twice a day. The property is older, but I see the continuous efforts to upgrade and improve where they can. The fellow guests are always helpful and friendly. And pet friendly too. We like it here.

The boat ramp/dock makes it a popular spot for boaters, but by far the most popular mode of transportation were jet skies. Unfortunately it is a rocky beach, so it can only be enjoyable if you bring water shoes. There is one covered shelter, a bathroom and that's about all folks. Not a place where you really want to hang out. Perfectly fine if you have a boat or jet ski and will be spending the majority of your time on the river.

Very safe for everyone who understands how to stay in the raft, so, not for the small or irresponsible. The whales show, usually, and can do spectacular displays. Cari's enthusiasm catches up everyone as she does her scientific thing, sinking cameras on ropes, making notes, etc. Always trying to find what makes this area so attractive to this particular animal.
