We have excellent credit and are serious about buying a home. When we walked in, we were upfront that we were working with another agent and gave her contact information, as to avoid any issues later on. Our agent was not able to come to the open house with us, due to her other obligations, but that should not be an issue as we walked into an OPEN HOUSE. We have been looking for a house for quite some time and in all of our experience, not to mention my experience as a real estate professional, I have never had any one refuse to let me see an open house just because I am working with another agent. That is completely illegal! This woman clearly wants to keep the commission for herself and put her interest in making money before her client's interest to sell their home. She is a clear example of a dishonest and greedy broker and it is because of people like her that this industry has suffered such a bad reputation. I am surprised a reputable company like Douglas Elliman would hire someone like that.
