Upon making a decision to sell our home in New Milford NJ, 3 different Realtors were interviewed. The first was dismissed when they stated their commission is 4.5 %. They further stated that the sellers agent would need to be additionally paid .5%. The second interview was with the Realtor that sold us the house 25 plus years prior. Semi retired. We decided not to go with him due to his underwhelming valuation for our home. We had the sense that he was not truly on his best game and possibly just looking to make a quick buck.
