Everest, into a conquerable reality. The eponymously named Realtor team, Stacy Esser Group ("SEG") at Keller Williams Realty in Tenafly, NY, were our home selling / buying and moving Sherpas. Buying a house, and then creating a home, living there, raising a family there and accumulating 24 years' worth of memories, memorabilia and priceless family relics is not an activity that lends itself to just moving one day; it's like pouring a lifetime of your heart and soul into creating a masterful piece of art, only then to destroy it, just to redo it all over one day; that's where SEG rides in on a white stallion, and donning the proverbial superhero cape, takes over, takes control and "sherpas" you to safety. My wife and I had the daunting task of selling our 1930s English Tudor with high real estate taxes at a time when young families only wanted cotemporary colonials. We had to unload a quarter century of memories, antiques, furniture and "stuff," get a price that made the move worthwhile, and then find a place to buy, one that was geographically desirable and not overpriced, during "a seller's market." SEG got us to summit this Mt. Everest task in a manner that made us feel like not only was it possible, but that this was "all they do," and it was "gonna happen," and that "they got this!" And they did! Stacy, Jaclyn, Allison and Hoda, and the entire team, found a buyer that paid our price, set us up with a professional to run an estate sale at our existing home, found us amazing movers, found us the right townhome to buy - in the community we wanted to be in- for the price we wanted to pay, and if that wasn't enough (Dayenu), they also found us painters and contractors, and an interior designer, all to do the work we wanted to do on both the new place, and to make the repairs on our existing home to make it "ready to close." If you're not exhausted yet, hang on because we would remiss if we didn't also mention that most of what SEG did for us, including the finding of the buyers and the finding of our new home, as well as the sale of our home and the hiring of contractors, they did for us while we were away on vacation in Europe for 2 1/2 weeks. While we were away, SEG worked around a 7 hour time difference, Facetimed and DocuSigned with us, and not only got the job done but even got the painter started on our new place before our plane hit the tarmac back in the U.S! At this point, do we really need to say we recommend this team? SEG Real Estate Sherpas, Super heroes, or whatever other amazing moniker you wish to attach, are owed not only our family's undying gratitude for making the seemingly impossible simply a matter of course, but, they unequivocally convinced us (actions speak louder than words), that they can do this over and over again, for anyone. SEG has a working formula, they professionally execute, AND, as a basic tenet of their business, every day, they infuse being empathetic, sympathetic, optimistic, and pretty much, just amazing human beings; doing all that, they don't hope for referrals or recommendations, by just doing what they do every day, they just earn them. Should you ever choose to move, and it's a daunting task, SEG can "sherpa" you, from thought process to finish line, and get you there physically intact, mentally unscathed, and thanking "the moving gods," that someone introduced you to them; but this of course isn't a recommendation - just saying .... djs
