I've been going to the JoCo Fair since I moved here 16 years ago. I have watched it go down hill every year, but I have to say this year was the worst! The shuttered stands along with poor maintenance (broken water fountain at the grandstands etc) made the whole thing look shabby. It's no wonder the fair has lost support. The Tuff Trucks "obstacle" course was a joke, it amounted to a series of speed bumps that were soon flattened by the few competitors who showed up to race. The poor quality of the track cannot be blamed on money issues, it just wasn't done right. Something needs to be done to draw people back to taking part in the fair, and Mutton Busting is not the answer!
