Called my insurance company (Delta) and Patty had never filed any claims with them. I payed out of pocket for everything. They wouldn't give me a cleaning which insurance pays for because they said I needed a deep cleaning. I highly recommend this dentist! He is very careful and patient with your teeth, and he genuinely cares about his patients. Not only is he a kind person, but he also does excellent work. I came in with a broken crown. Dr. Rajabi advised me he could replace it that day. Patty came in a little while later to go over costs. When she told me $1250. I specifically asked her to break down what my insurance covered. She verbally told that was an upgraded and I would still have to pay $900 to use insurance. I agreed to do the upgrade for the little difference. The beef is she NEVER offered me a trtreatment plan. She NEVER explained options for my insurance in writing, a treatment plan.. She just said that's why people don't use insurance because they don't pay much. My mistake is I trusted her. I had it done and later called my insurance and was told this shouldn't have happened this way. I filed a grievance and my insurance denied it because the information they got from Dr Rajabi office was partly untruthful. They stated in the report my crown was not leaking and no cavity and was only chipped. It was denied because they considered it cosmetic. I was NEVER told any of that! I could've waited! Costly lesson! I have since went to another dentist and everything was handled in a very professional manner. They explained everything in detail with the treatment plan. I have been going to Dr. Joseph Rajabi for a few years now and I thought it important to write a Yelp review and share my feelings. It was very difficult to find a quality dentist nowadays that is not only good at what they do but honest and looking towards the patient's best interest. There's a lot of Dentists that push certain procedures that could be done to enhance your smile or appearance but are not truly necessary. Dr. Rajabi is outstanding at presenting the needed items first and then the extra items you can do if you wish. He never presses for anything except for your true dental care. He is thoughtful and considerate and keeps you informed of what he is doing and what he's going to be doing, no surprises. This is a rare thing to find nowadays in dentistry. read more

Its unfortunate to have to write a negative review but its needed in hopes that the doctor would see it. Firstly, Doctor Rajabi is a wonderful dentist and enjoyed has service. Unfortunately his office scheduling staff not so much. more than once have I had to call multiple times to either reach appointment person or get a call back. Recently I had an appointment and I went to that appointment and the office was closed. finally after multiple calls got a call back from this same representative telling me emphatically that she called and left multiple messages. I did see a missed call from the office but no messages were received. I am a techie so I know how to check for voicemails. She didnt for a moment give any indication that she understood my frustration and certainly wasnt going to accept that she may not have left a message. I took time off work for this appointment and was ultimately told that due to others cancelling I was the only appointment left so they closed for the day. I then told her that I guess ill have to find a new dentist and she said something to the effect of....sounds good have a nice day. Zero customer service. so ill go elsewhere to find a good dentist that has staff with customer service and work ethics. read more

I was given my treatment plan and the total price. I asked if I can have a minute to figure out my finances. The nurse said that was fine. Two minutes later she came back to tell me that the doctor moved on to the next procedure because I "took too long" to decide. I literally took exactly two minutes and I had already heard the doctor discussing the procedure he was about to preform with the patient one chair next to me 30 minutes before "I took too long" to decide. There are no closed doors between the chairs so he had already decided he was going to preform the other procedure. I left the office after over 1.5 hours of waiting with no work done. I don't appreciate being told that the two minutes I needed were the reason I couldn't be seen today. The nurse took 15 minutes to come and talk to me after the doctor did his evaluation and went to start on the next patient but I can't have 2 minutes? I took the day off of work and arrived on time. I completely would have understood if I was informed that a more urgent procedure came up but to be told that I took too long was very insensitive. I sincerely hope that my next visits at this office are a better experience. Also, the assistant who gave me the price laughed while telling me how many cavities I have. I work in the medical field and I would never make a patient feel that way but to each their own. read more

A year later update.. The 3 bottom right side crowns, he did I had to do over because the first one was crowned with a cavity under the second one food was entering under the crown and the third crown fell off because he drilled all the tooth above the gum and left the rest rotten in side the gum and put a crown on.. so now I have to extract it, and get an implant.. read more

Where do I begin besides, don't take your children to this dentist. I took my daughter to this dentist because she needed dental work. The ladies in the front office very nice and willing to help, the staff in the back were having inappropriate conversations, which I truly didn't appreciate! The dental assistant tried to lecture me about my daughters dental hygiene and went on and on like if he was the dentist. Super annoying! When the dentist finally came into what seemed like a cubicle which honestly seems super invasive for those who are having dental work, he didn't great us, didn't even look at my daughters teeth, all he did was look at X-rays, and say she needs to see specialist and didn't even have a word with me. I made him explain to me why she needed a specialist. Overall horrible experience and I wouldn't recommend this dentist or his cubicle style or office. read more

I'm a coward when it comes to dentists, have been all my life. First of all, the staff here is amazing! Patty will bend over backwards to assist you, both she & the rest of the staff are kind and personable... and professional. Dr. Rajabi is very down to earth, which imo is a 1st for a dentist, he actually talks & listens to you. I've never felt so comfortable in a dentist's office, usually I'm white-knuckling it the entire time. His staff doesn't make you feel stupid for being scared (many of us older folks are) or roll their eyes as they walk away. I've been here a few times & today was the best dentist visit I've ever had in my life. I had to get a filling, which included needles, a drill & 1 of those pick things- all 100% painless. Trust me, if there was any pain I wouldn't be saying otherwise. If you're a dental coward, like me, I cannot recommend this office enough. read more

Dr Rajabi is the BEST! He is nice, gentle and doesn't make you feel rushed. I have been looking for a great dentist near my home. I don't have to look anymore.
