Update regarding billing: After reviewing the insurance claim, I noticed that a fluoride treatment was submitted to my insurance. I do not recall receiving a fluoride treatment during my visit. If this was billed despite not being performed, that raises serious ethical concerns. At a minimum, it has further undermined my confidence in this practice and reinforced my decision not to return. I walked out feeling both physically uncomfortable and deceived. Transparency matters, especially in healthcare, and unfortunately this visit fell far short of the trust I had built with this office over the years. read more

We use to love this place. I used to rave to friends and family about it. Unfortunately this office was purchased by new owners with no regards to informing us of this change especially when we had been both coming here for years. My daughter had an appointment that was scheduled 6 months in advance, I received reminder memos a week prior to her appointment to confirm her appt date and time. A day before her scheduled appointment, I received a phone call that they had to cancel our appointment as their pediatric dentist was only in the office every other Friday. I tried scheduling for that upcoming Friday, and of course no appointments were available. The next available appointment date was almost 3 weeks out. This is not going to work for us, and our schedule. Mind you, we travel a good 30 min to come to this location as we loved it previously. Needless to say I called another facility and they were able to get my daughter in the next day and are available more than twice a month. It was convenient and we liked the previous owners for both myself and my daughter. But since I will now be taking my daughter elsewhere, I will also be searching for a new dentist for myself. Like another reviewer stated- Transparency matters. Especially when we have been long time clients. read more

April 30, 2026. Wow it was a bit of a journey. I'm not gonna lie.. The staff here is amazing the girls in the front office you could ask for nicer girls.. The dentist is really cool a beautiful Office beautiful beautiful Office.. His laboratory is probably one of the best.. as you get older, your teeth change and things happen fitting was a little hard in the beginning, but they stood with me and they helped me through the journey. I want to express my gratitude to Dr. Derick and his team of assistants for taking care of my smile. I came here to change my two crowns that I've had for years because they were hurting my mouth and I was experiencing pain in one of them. Dr. Derek did a phenomenal job at cleaning the root canals that was hurting me because of the bacteria and he also changed the other side of my mouth and did a phenomenal job with the crowns. The crowns feel like they are part of my teeth. He is so precise and took his time and really trying to figure out the best color for my teeth. The best size I really appreciate his professionalism and kindness in the process. I'm usually very nervous when I go to doctor's office, especially the dentist because you never know what to expect, but he made the process so easy and he's just great at what he does! Has anyone ever had a 2-3 minute "normal cleaning"? I came in today for a scheduled 11:00 AM normal cleaning. I arrived at 10:40 AM, the front desk staff were kind and professional, and the nurse assisting with my X-rays was very friendly and helpful. However, the overall experience afterward was very disappointing. When the doctor came, he reviewed my X-rays and oral scan and immediately recommended deep cleaning, fillings, and even extraction. I informed him that I was only there for a routine normal cleaning today. Before the polishing started, I also had to wait for a while. After that, I continued waiting, and I eventually asked a nurse in the next room to check on the status, since I had already been waiting for quite some time. She said she would go check for me. Eventually, I was told that the doctor himself would be doing the cleaning instead of a hygienist. I was surprised by this, because in my previous visits--when I brought my parents here the cleanings were always done by a dental hygienist. I am not sure why there was no hygienist available today. The actual cleaning process took only about 2-3 minutes. I was honestly shocked, as a normal cleaning I've had in other states usually takes around 30-40 minutes and feels much more thorough. This felt extremely rushed and did not match what I understand as a standard cleaning appointment. Afterward, when I questioned the process, the doctor told me that this is how a normal cleaning is done. Overall, while the staff were friendly, I am very dissatisfied with the quality and duration of the service I received today. read more

My whole family used to love this place. I loved Dr. George and his entire staff. They are all gone and were purchased by new owners ...I had no idea until we went in today. My kids had appointments today and when we went in, they told us that they no longer take our insurance!! No one could have called to tell me this before we came in??? I ended up paying for the cleaning with my HRA account since I had already pulled the kids out of school . Anyway, the hygienist that cleaned my daughter's teeth was great and so so soooo sweet. And praised her for what a good job she does brushing etc and how great her teeth look....thennnnnn the dentist comes in "looks at X-rays" and tells me that she has 9 cavities. YES NINE!!!! We were just there 6 months before and she had only one small cavity that we took care of. And my daughter sees an orthodontist every month who also tells her what a great job she does!!! So I flat out told her "I DONT BELIEVE YOU". I cannot even tell you how deceiving this dentist seems. And make it a point to say that all 9 need to be treated (even though several are on teeth that will be falling out soon). I will say, that their front staff is wonderful. And the 2 hygienist we saw were great too.....but beware of this dentist. Now off to find a dentist that takes our insurance. read more

Made a mistake and scheduled my 89 year old mother to this dentist. Came in filled out the patient health forms. Just to be told we had 15 minutes left and that we should reschedule. Mind you never received the forms prior to nor was I told the time was restricted. No customer service or communication with this facility. Received text messages about my appointment time and trying to reschedule when someone in the office booked me at an incorrect time. First, pick up the phone and give your customer a call. I lost a crown over the weekend and thankfully was able to see the dentist on Monday afternoon. My problem was addressed with a temporary crown and a plan to finish the work. Found this location on Delta Dental PPO and Yelp, and was able to make an appointment a week out for x-rays, exam, and cleaning. The facility is quite eye appealing and clean. I felt pretty safe going here as it was during the Covid-19 pandemic. All staff had masks on and were friendly from phone call to in person visit. However, one of the back office staff had her mask below her nose and there were some points during the visit that the doctor had to remove his mask a couple of times. Other that that I excused myself to use the restroom and wash my face before putting my mask back on in between waiting. The visit: New patient paperwork takes at least 15 minutes, so ensure extra time for traffic and filling out paperwork, and you should be fine. Filled out 5 pages worth, info about yourself, your insurance, arbitration, initialling for understanding of services, and covid symptoms. For x-rays, they have a bag over their equipment before it goes into your mouth. I was also afraid of the x-ray coat not being cleaned, but I saw one of the back office staff remove it from the opposite side of the cabinet to hopefully go disinfected after it was used on me. During the exam, Dr. Derick was very thorough with explaining everything about my teeth history from the images and showed me why it is important for braces as my jawline wasn't aligned properly and caused grinding. I didn't particularly like that his mask was off more than handful of times while mine was off, but let's just say he was trying to make a point. After that I went to wait by my husband's exam room and thought the front office misheard me so I went to make sure we only needed a cleaning and no filling this time around as we had errands to run and grab flowers for mom's birthday. Then it was my turn for the cleaning, which didn't really feel like a cleaning as it was just more of scraping my teeth and then polishing. She was nice and gentle, but it wasn't a cleaning that I expected. Was it because of covid that it was only just scraping and polishing was done? I was also weirded out that I had to hold the dental suction equipment that removes saliva/water/debris from my mouth. Furthermore, while my husband waited for the dental hygienist to be available for his cleaning, there was huge miscommunication between him and the front office that he was just going to wait for his cleaning after me vs. just wait for me. We were pretty livid about that because who in their right mind would just go for an exam and x-rays for fun?! Also, after I signed my paper of $0 that my insurance covered my exam, x-rays, and cleaning, they explained that there was no opening for my husband's cleaning. Disgruntled about the miscommunication, and after my husband explained of what happened to me and signing a paper agreeing that it was the pricing treatment plan for his 2 fillings. I didn't comprehend what was going on, so we came back to the office for a print out of the explanation from the front office ladies. She was nice and apologize for the miscommunication and explained that sometimes they will slide you into the dental hygienist if they have time. But that's why we came early in the day, and again, who just goes for exams and x-rays only? So after getting a copy of the plan from her, we were ensured that we would there is nothing due and would only be billed on what was performed. She also ensured that what my husband signed was a sheet only to show the pricing of the treatment plans. By this point we were both hangry having to be in by 9:30am for appointments at 10am and 11am, and finished by roughly 12pm, and he wasn't able to get his cleaning done. How sad is that? read more

I had been avoiding going to a dentist due to my crazy dentophobia/ anxiety of any procedure. I researched many offices in Corona and this was the very best I found in the area. This place is always clean! It smells good and everyone there is so friendly and helpful! I was looking for Drs that would explain procedures, keep me at ease and care about my overall health. I have a health condition that forces me to keep all of my doctor's in the loop before any procedures. When I explained this to Kenia and Dr. Derick, they were very caring and did not make me feel judged or uncomfortable. I needed a couple fillings and then found out I needed a Root canal, crown lengthening and a crown. Of course I start freaking out (internally) right away. I told Dr. Derick I really didn't want to do it. He referred me and explained what the Endodontist would say and do. I did the root canal but I really don't want any kind of surgery. He took another look to give me peace of mind that he tried his very best. He was able to save me from seeing a Periodontist for the crown lengthening! That to me deserves a 5+ star rating. It's been a few...okay maybe more than a few years since I've been to the dentist before finding WCD. I had TMJ when I was younger and basically traumatized with the amount of work I had done so I was pretty embarrassed to go in after such a long time. Everyone is so nice, takes the time to explain everything, and I've never left feeling uncomfortable or embarrassed. I like to wait a bit until I write reviews so I've actually been a patient for a little over a year now. Every time I'm getting something done the doctor constantly checks in on me and asks if I'm doing okay. I have really bad anxiety so the reassurance helps! My 6 year old has also been a patient for about 8 months now and he loves going in. What kid LIKES going to the dentist? My 3 yo will be joining him soon and I don't anticipate any issues. The facility is clean and very put together. They have TVs up and music playing. You can tell by the way they talk to each other that they are all close and happy to be there. They've been pretty easy to schedule with and are even open on Saturday occasionally. read more
