l had a wonderful experience at Joseph's Jewelers ! I came in to have my engagement ring resized, and Davis was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire process. They treated my ring with such care and made sure it fit perfectly and comfortably. The turnaround time was fast, and the quality of the work exceeded my expectations. They cleaned my ring for me and it looks just as beautiful as the day I got it. I'm so grateful to have such a trustworthy and skilled jeweler right here in the community. The owner is not a good person. I brought a set of 18K gold earrings into him because the wire fell off and I did not want to end up losing the earring. Well, I picked up the earring and he stated it was repaired. The first time I went to use the earrings the post fell off in my hand. I returned the earrings to the store and told him what happened. He did not say there would be an additional charge. I picked up the earrings and low and behold he charged me another 27.00 dollar's to repair one wire. I would not advise anyone to go to this man, hes a total rip off artist. read more

I went here to have a ring sized and now having it cleaned by someone else it was replaced with non precious materials and my diamonds have been replaced as they are gray now! I'm thinking I should sue! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. First, the place is a dirty, smelly dump. I went in to have the setting checked on my engagement ring. The jeweler told me that I had to leave my ring with him in order for him to fix it. There was no way I was going to leave my ring with this man. Then he told me that I should put the ring in my pocket because the diamond was going to be falling out and I would be lucky if I didn't lose it. All scare tactics to get me to leave my diamond. I brought the ring to my own jeweler and he assured me that there was absolutely no way my diamond could've fallen out. One prong was slightly lifted and within five minutes the diamond was secure. I wouldn't even bring my costume jewelry to this shady character! read more

I want to begin by making it clear that I don't leave reviews ever. This it the first time. I actually created this account with the sole purpose of leaving this review. If I'm being honest, I will probably never leave another review. But this place REALLY pissed me off. With that said, I wholeheartedly agree with Mary--this place isn't worthy of even 1 star. If it was possible to leave negative or zero stars that's what I would do. I left two watches with them to get the batteries replaced and to have cleaned. First off, the smell when you walk in the door is awful. Smells like mold and rodent feces. The owner or whoever the guy was that was working that day was sitting in the back. When I walked in he didn't even make a move to attempt to come to the counter. After pretending to look around while I was waiting and then standing there for more than five minutes, I finally cleared my throat to get his attention. No response. Finally, I said "excuse me," and he looked up as if annoyed. He finally waddled up to the counter. Frankly I didn't feel comforatable leaving the watches with the very, very sketchy looking guy that was at the counter, so I asked if I could wait while he did the work. He said, it would "take him a while to get to it." When I asked him how long, he said at least until the next day. This was on a Wednesday. When I called the next day there was no answer, so I thought maybe they were closed on Wednesdays. So I came in the next day on Thursday and we wen't through the same thing as the first time I came in--I walked in, he was in the back and didn't even bother to glance up. Finally he came to the counter. At this point I was fed up. I said I just needed to pick up my watches. He asked for my ticket. The problem is he didn't give me a ticket when I left the watches two days earlier. When I told him he never gave me a ticket he just rolled his eyes and asked for my name. After searching for the next two or three minutes he finally found it and said, "Oh yeah, here it is. We haven't had a chance to do that work yet. Come back tomorrow." So, on my lunch break the next day on Friday I drove the 20 miles from my work to go pick my watches up. When I got there, completely contrary to the posted hours of operation, there was no one there. So I had no choice but to come back the next day. There was a different guy working. I told him I'd come to pick up my watches. We went through to whole ticket thing again. Only this time, the guy couldn't find my watches. He asked if I could come back the next day. I told him, "Hell no. I'm not leaving here without my watches." It took him about 20 minutes but he finally found them. He handed me the envelope they were in. But when I opened the envelope--the envelope with my name and phone number on it--it wasn't even my watches. I was FURIOUS by this point. When he realized his mistake, he said, "Relax yours isn't the only job we're working on right now. I'll find it." He went through the entire box of orders and opened every envelope until finally I saw my watches. It was absolutely in an envelope with another customer's name on it. He said, "No big deal, the envelopes just got switched. It happens..." So he rang it up and told me it would be $23. But when he handed me the watches, neither battery had been changed! ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!?!! Obviously, I told him where he could stick the $23 and I left. DO NOT trust this place. It's hands down the worst customer service I've ever experienced. read more
