There are not enough superlatives to explain how outstanding my experience with Dr. Burns has been. I came into his office after dealing with shoulder pain for a few years, and when it finally got so bad that I couldn't sleep, I knew I needed help--and Dr. Burns gave me hope the moment I met him.
He quickly identified that I had a rotator cuff injury, and after surgery I learned that there were several additional issues he had to repair once he was in the joint. That's something many people don't realize: you often don't know the full extent of the problem until a skilled surgeon takes a closer look. I am incredibly grateful that Dr. Burns was that surgeon.
My recovery was so much easier than I expected, and for the first time in years, I am finally out of pain. That alone feels life-changing.
His assistant, Jennie McCarty, was absolutely wonderful as well. She was kind, patient, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. Together, they made me feel cared for, informed, and confident every step of the way.
