I had a Meniscus Tear that I had been told could only be resolved via Surgery. I didn't want to…read moreundergo surgery so I looked for someone who understood this and would help me figure out an alternative. Dr Sylvia was my saviour. She understood exactly what I needed and created a plan for me, to try alternative solutions. This took over a year. Anytime I went in for my appointment, I was always sure that I was in good hands because she is very thorough, understanding and knows what she's doing. Over one year later, I now walk without crutches and without pain, and without ever having surgery. A combination of process and procedures went into my healing and Dr Sylvia was one of them. The reason I took out one star was because of her rude receptionist whom I am hoping no longer works there because she ruins the expectation which greatly contrasts the amazing consultation you get from Dr Sylvia. If you can ignore the receptionists abrupt rudeness, Dr Sylvia is the best you'll get, hands down!

My chiropractor at home said I needed to find someone to give me a cortisone shot. I had no time to get one at home up north. Dr Hesse saw me next day, evaluated my condition, and gave me an injection! She saved my business trip to NY and the subsequent 3 weeks of vacation!

She was able to fit me in within a week, on a day and time that worked for me. When I got to the building, I found the office without too much trouble (the concierge are super helpful about directing you to the right place). Check in was fast and my wait was less than 10 minutes (the nurse called me in before I even finished all my paperwork/patient history forms). The nurse was nice and quick about ordering my X-rays. The wait on those were less than 5 minutes. Once those were done I saw the doctor fairly quickly. Dr Rosenstein was great! After his physical exam and after he reviewed my X-rays, he went through the differentials and gave me options. He listened to what I was and wasn't willing to try (no steroids for me today thanks) and outlined what to expect and what the next steps were if plan a didn't work. The whole experience left me pretty confident in his diagnosis and care. All in all great experience, I was in and out in an hour with lots of information and a treatment plan. The front desk was even able to give me a parking validation even though I forgot my ticket in my car (it's the little things).

I was literally crying from pain and had to ask again. Two staff members named Grace and Andrea said the delay was fine. Andrea actually laughed when i explained what happened to my mom who was there with me. Grace was sarcastic, condescending and rude during the whole interaction with her. Avoid this surgical center. I should have checked the reviews.

Betsy did my x-rays and she was very considerate when positioning me for the machine and participated in a friendly conversation which distracted me from my shoulder worries. Dr. Garten was great as well, explaining why I was experiencing the pains in my heel and shoulder and telling me what I could do to help avoid and alleviate the pain, including a few weeks of physical therapy. He diagnosed my shoulder as impingement and let me know that it was fixable which was a relief. For the ladies who may decide to visit Paragon, lemme warn you... Dr. Garten is a little bit of a hottie. He makes a lot of direct eye contact and his baby blues are hypnotic. It was all I could do not to giggle while he was talking to me. But I did a great job of keeping myself together, and I hope you do too. Prior to my visit, I had to cancel and reschedule because of the recent snow in Atlanta, and Paragon was quick to respond. I also had an insurance question about my visit that I handled via email, and received a quick response for that as well. If you call and get the voice mail, leave a message because they'll call you back fairly quickly or the next day. You'll have to pay for parking to visit Paragon. It's located in the Northwest Medical Offices (inside the west building with the big W on the side). The parking isn't expensive at $2 for up to 30 min and $3 for up to 60 min. The rates go up after that, but I didn't capture how high. Overall, two thumbs up!

I ended up at this place, thanks to a referral from Dr. Hoadley (who was a referral from one of my…read morerunning buddies, and a Hernia Specialist). Due to my former job with the Atlanta Hawks and Thrashers, Dr. Hoadley sent me to Dr. Garten. Finding the place wasn't hard, and it's in one of the nicest housing areas of Atlanta you'll see (West Paces Ferry Rd). Parking was a breeze (you will pay $5 to park), and then his office was in the West Tower on the 2nd Floor (there is also an East Tower). Walking in, I found the office space to be very clean and seemed to be very new. Maybe it was just all the modern furniture. I was the only one there (must have been the first patient at 9AM), and got checked in right away. The front desk lady was very nice. It wasn't long before I was called back and waited. I had handed the lady my MRI cd and notes, and she had me wait while Dr. Garten reviewed it. I certainly didn't mind the 10 minute wait or so. Walking in, Dr. Garten was very friendly and I just loved his demeanor. I went over a brief history of my running, and he had me hop up on the table and lie down. It took him literally three minutes to hit the pain points. He mentioned he reviewed my MRI and went over what was ailing me, but had wanted to check the spots first. It was SUCH a relief to hear. It was more a relief to hear that my injury wouldn't require surgery, and that a steroid pack plus PT should resolve it. Even better, someone in his family had the same injury as mine, so he referred to a PT that could handle it. I'm certainly a happy customer, b/c of the service I received and also the immediate result of knowing what was wrong. I would refer Dr. Garten to anybody. Great bedside manner and accurate diagnosis.

When our 15-year-old son had a serious preseason workout accident that left him with a displaced clavicle fracture and broken coracoid, it was overwhelming and scary. Dr. Traub immediately stepped in and made sure Benjamin was taken care of. From the surgery itself -- where Jeff used a new clavicle plate system to repair everything -- to the thoughtful follow-up care, every step has been handled with so much skill, kindness, and attention. The whole team has checked in, kept a close eye on his healing, and treated him with the kind of compassion that means the world to parents navigating an unexpected injury. They even sent him home with one of their T-shirts that says, "If you can break it, we can fix it." We couldn't agree more -- and now we have the proof! While it's hard to see our son sidelined from the activities he loves, we have complete peace of mind knowing he's in the very best hands. We couldn't ask for a better team of professionals -- and friends -- to walk with us on this journey to recovery. We would highly recommend this team at Atlanta Bone and Joint for your orthopedic care
