Unclear Communication: When I asked questions about my condition or treatment, I did not receive clear or straightforward answers. Pattern of Similar Complaints: I have since learned from another patient that they had an almost identical negative experience with Dr. Henry several years ago, which suggests this may be an ongoing issue. As medical professionals, I expect doctors to uphold the Hippocratic Oath and prioritize patient care with compassion and clarity. Unfortunately, Dr. Henry fell far short of these standards. I urge you to investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure no other patients experience similar treatment. At this time, I cannot recommend Dr. Henry and will be seeking care elsewhere.

Dr. Henry may be an expert in his field, but he is NOT anyone who appears to have any time to take and LISTEN to his patients. From the time he walked into the room to diagnose my hip pain, he did not let me get one sentence in to discuss my issue. He quickly went through testing me, gave me a diagnosis, showed me an exercise very quickly, gave me quick instructions and promptly left as I was trying to talk to him. Now I am left with having to try and remember his instructions, and he did not listen to my lifestyle issues to try and address any concerns I had with his diagnosis or his recommendations. Nothing was written down for me to access in my records that I am seeing. I will have to let the PT person tell me what to do because I don't feel I was given the opportunity to engage. If you are looking for a doctor that is willing to listen to your issues, he is not for you.

My mom had to make the tough decision to get elective surgery for a hip replacement and Dr. Iams bedside manners are unmatched! Him, along with his PA provided such a level of care that you felt as if they were your family and you were in great hands. From his scheduler, to him being prompt and on time for every appointment, his level of detail was just astonishing. He made her tension about the surgery go with ease. With him being a part of the piedmont network, it made life so much easier. We receive alerts for when she went back to the operating room, when she was in procedure, and when she finished in real time! She understood exactly what I needed and created a plan for me, to try alternative solutions. This took over a year. Anytime I went in for my appointment, I was always sure that I was in good hands because she is very thorough, understanding and knows what she's doing. Over one year later, I now walk without crutches and without pain, and without ever having surgery. A combination of process and procedures went into my healing and Dr Sylvia was one of them. The reason I took out one star was because of her rude receptionist whom I am hoping no longer works there because she ruins the expectation which greatly contrasts the amazing consultation you get from Dr Sylvia. Pitiful Care & Lies - What Did I Do to Deserve This?…read more I just have to say--the care I received at your office was absolutely pitiful. And let's be real, it had everything to do with discrimination. Whether it was my ankle monitor, my insurance status, or something else--y'all made a conscious decision to treat me like I was less than. Let's talk about Mr. Deep for a second. I asked him point-blank: "Do you think this has anything to do with a Baker's cyst? I've had them 3-4 times before, but it never spread into my calf." He looked me in the face and said, "No." Guess what? It was a Baker's cyst. So, either he didn't know what he was talking about, or he just didn't care. Meanwhile, I was in excruciating pain and just needed something--whether it was the meloxicam (which wasn't available until Monday morning) or ANYTHING to get some relief. Instead, I had to go to another doctor, who actually helped me by prescribing prednisone, which finally gave me some relief. And let's talk about the lies. Y'all told me Dr. Potts doesn't do knee replacements. If that's true, fix his online info because that's false advertising. You told me you called in my meloxicam, but guess what? You waited THREE DAYS to do it. Why? Now, you're trying to get rid of me after I've been seeing Dr. Potts for 2.5 years? What did I do to deserve this? I've had conversations with him about growing up around Jimmy Andrews, about vacationing and duck hunting with them. And now y'all want to treat me like I don't matter? And another thing--Mr. Deep had the nerve to pull up my X-rays and tell me my knee isn't quite "bone on bone," so I shouldn't be in this much pain. Excuse me?? He straight-up said their patients either just deal with the pain or get surgery. What kind of nonsense is that? Let me be very clear: I wasn't looking for pain meds. I don't even take them. I was in agony and could barely walk for a week. I saw y'all once, then my girlfriend insisted I get help, and THIS is what I got?
