I called ahead to prevent any trouble when my son went by himself--yet, he left without a prescription for his new glasses and they had turned him away not able to find insurance info. I had called ahead THAT DAY. Now I'm am trying to obtain a copy of said Rx so he can get glasses elsewhere. It's been a week since Person A said she put it in the mail. Today Person B said the Rx can't be sent yet because it's not signed by the doctor... it's time to move on, unfortunately.

My regular ophthalmologist retired so my GP recommend this Marko doctor whose staff was not gentle & when I talked with him he disagreed & asked me to leave. The only thing I wanted was a gentle exam & I was treated with disrespect. I'm do glad I found another better more caring doctor later. What a creep. And to think when making this appt w Marko I asked if he was gentle bec I needed that. So sad what a waste of time

I think the billing person was then trying to handle check outs and now additionally check ins, so there was a small line and delay but not too bad of a wait. During my appointment I was completely thrown off that I was getting my pupils dilated and without question or advance notice. The day before I got a call about the location and if I knew how to find the place, but no notification that I would be getting my pupils dilated, that I should bring contacts or prescription glasses, or sunglasses. Additionally the appointment ended up being an hour and a half which it has never taken that long. I had only anticipated an hour so I had a conference call that I had to get on so I had to put an earbud in while listening to Dr. Bast give me his assessment. He was very descriptive and helpful, confirming my already known inability to get lasik and crushing my hope of ever having my eyes ever be 20/20. The staff is very nice otherwise.

After completing the paperwork I was walked back to start my appointment, almost immediately. This is always a great perk to not have to sit and wait for who knows how long due to someone being behind schedule. I really liked that the assistants get the process starting by asking some questions and doing a couple of the first tests. After I was done with that portion I was personally walked into the exam room and greeted by Dr. Goodfellow just a few moments after. Dr. Goodfellow did a great job at asking me questions, learning more about me and my issues. Through learning more about me, he was able to give some great advice with even better reasons to back up his professional advice. I left with a totally new prescription that fit my eyes WAY better than my previous. I especially like that he wasn't afraid to give me a weaker prescription than my current one - this to me feels like he isn't trying to make my eyes worse and keep me coming back for new prescriptions and really just trying to create the best solution for me on the spot. I was the driver for this elderly woman, who is also in a wheelchair. In addition, I recently had shoulder surgery so operating with one arm, the other in a large sling. We arrived 9 minutes late, for an early morning appt, there were no other people in the waiting room, not even one. She simply said Doctor can't fit you in today he's very busy. You are 10 minutes late. At first I thought she was joking, due to that fact that we were the only ones in the waiting room. But she said no, you must reschedule. Absolutely ZERO compassion for this woman or what it takes to get to her to appointments. I apologized for being late, and asked if she could please try to fit her in. No. We will not be going back to this office and I would NOT recommend them.
