After one and a half hours, I called back to let them know I did not need their service. My neighbor was able to help me the following morning. I get a text at 10:30 PM Saturday evening, saying my technician had arrived. I was not home and I quickly texted back saying I had canceled the service call. I had a contract with them to check on my system every six months. Well, they never checked anything of importance since the Freon was extremely low, and there was a buildup of bacterial gunk that was never cleaned out. I have canceled my contract with them and want to warn other customers to make sure they do their job since they did not do that for me.

We originally hired Presidential to provide bi annual Maintenance for two units on our home. They had great reviews online and very good prices for their maintenance plans. Our AC wasn't working well and the units had not been serviced since we purchased the home. Brett did a thorough service and inspection. Unfortunately our downstairs unit had two major problems, a leak in the coils with no refrigerant and the compressor was completely dead. Repairing it would be almost as much as a new unit. Our upstairs unit was ok except it needed a $250 module. To help us out, Brett offered to include all maintenance fees and repair the upstairs unit for free if we opted to purchase a new unit. We opted for the Lennox Elite with all aluminum coils and the variable speed motor for better energy efficiency and humidity control. These units are the best value for SW Florida. The install occurred a few days later and Brett and his son showed up exactly on time and completely the work with precision and speed. I highly recommend Presidential!

Walking behind my fiance's place in St. Croix we found a sticker from Patriot Cooling Inc placed on…read moreher A/C condenser unit, which we'd never heard of.  We never hired them, nor did they perform any service on that unit. Looking down the line, every single condenser unit had the same sticker. I called Patriot Cooling and they claimed they might have "a lot of customers" in the area -- but based on what we saw, this was obviously a blanket sticker placement, not legitimate service markings. After a short walk through several buildings in the complex, we found that nearly every unit in the vicinity had been tagged, usually every single condenser in the line. Some were even placed directly over the original installer's label, which is not only completely unfair to those businesses, but quite problematic if you ever need that info for warranty or service records.  (to add insult to injury the stickers are the kind that leave behind residue.) Not the biggest issue plaguing Southwest Florida, but if *every* business did this our equipment would be plastered with random labels.  It also creates confusion about who actually installed or serviced the unit.  I understand small business owners want to drum up business, but hopefully they rethink this approach going forward. I told him what happened and he immediately knew the problem, fixed it in 20 or so minutes and while he was at my house did a general inspection of the 2 year old unit. A few weeks ago my upstairs A/C was being examined at the start of its semi-annual checkup. The associate notified me that the air handler in the attic was dropping its insulation from within, and this would create a problem with continuing the standard semi-annual checkup. This necessitated scheduling an associate on a different day to basically rebuild the air handler. Understandably this was a long project through the day but was completed to our satisfaction. QUALITY: The different associates whom we have seen over a long period of time have been exceptionally professional and courteous. VALUE: Everyone decides what they describe as value. For us it's the confidence that our A/C units will work through the summer and winter year after year. Having a service agreement gives us that peace of mind. SUMMARY: These people have demonstrated exceptional courtesy (every phone call is a new pleasant greeting, every time). One has to have trust in the service people with whom they do business. For me, these people are very highly recommended.

It was a Trane and installed by Climate Control. A man named Rodney gave me a great deal on the unit and they installed it with minimal trouble. Seven years later they came back when I had my first issue. One of the coils had corroded through. They gave me a reasonable price for the repair and because I helped the tech with the install they cut the bill by $200. Just had my second issue. Realized house was getting warmer while unit was running. Climate Control had a tech on-site within 3 hours and kept me informed by cell when to expect him. I think his name was Alex. Great tech who found a heavy wire had corroded through. He installed a new socket fixture and topped up the coolant. Best $162.00 I have spent this year. June/July/August is no fun in Naples without a/c - even for a few hours. I trust this company as a trust few others. They have been fair and honest with me.
