I recieved 7 stiches to my lip and 3 to my hand. Within 3 days my lip became necrotic. I saw my PCP on day 4 and her IMMEDIATE reaction was that I needed to see a surgeon THAT DAY!! No one was available on Day 5 Dr.Russ examined me.... cut out the necrotic tissue on my lip and performed the MOST AMAZING reconstruction surgery!! He claimed he wasn't a plastic surgeon but his work was AMAZING. After following his treatment plan as instructed... when I came back 3 days later for my post-op visit. He was thrilled that the wound looked 1000% better and so was I !!! On day 10 he removed the sutures he placed and OMG!!! The deformity that I anticipated having was NO LONGER an issue because his work was ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING leaving only a hairline scar!!! So, I requested an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), and my husband agreed. By referral, we met with Dr. Peter Aldea regarding the procedure. He thoroughly explained the process, and we were happy to proceed with the surgery. My results were excellent; my stomach was flat as a washboard and lasted for many, many years; however, with life, medical procedures, weight gain, and loss, my body began to change.
