We elected to have the daily special- a 3 course meal that included our choice of an appetizer, main course, plus all we could drink wine and a fabulous dessert. Real home cooking and the most hospitable hostess/owner. The most incredible part was that the lunch was around $12.50 a person! This place was a genuine gem! Loved every minute of our time there and we will be back.

Found this place quite by accident but it was within a walking distance of the hotel which was nice. Tapas was great. Not fancy and overly inventive but very well prepared with a good flair and flavor. Bravissimas, Pulpo, Carrillada de cerdo just to name a few. A nice Albarno to go along and you've quite quite an experience all within the Valencia's old city.

At the instruction of one of the hosts, we chose a bottle of wine from the shelves along the wall and took it to the bar where it was opened and glasses were poured from it for us. Not only is the wine selection very broad, but the prices are exceptional - only a little more than you'd pay if you were buying the wine directly from a supermarket! To pair with the excellent wine, we chose from the menu of simple tapas (ham, bread, olives, cheese, etc.).
