Clean and fresh store, no obscene or bad fishy smell inside :)…read moreVery polite and kind asian staff that speak english and french very comfortably, and very helpful when she noticed that we were interested in something specific and gave us advice on how to use some of their ingredients and products, which honestly, wow. I've visited other asian grocery stores, and usually they're so shy or aren't comfortable with the language that they avoid all questions, so coming here as my first time was a real eye opener and such a breath of fresh air :) Because a lot of these things don't come with an english translation on the back lol At the time I came, they didn't accept credit cards, only cash and debit, however I do hope that in the future they gain enough business to make it worth setting up their credit card proccessor. They didn't offer plastic bags though, only a nice quality logo'd shoping bag you buy for an extra dollar, which was fine for me, as least it's sturdy and I get to reuse it. This store is very small though, they don't have any fresh fruits or veggies, just dried things that last long, we well as a few frozen items and cooking pots. Though they do have all the dried essentials, as well as spices. I did find a good salty bean paste too. They did have many interesting ingredients as well, things I haven't seen before like dried bamboo fungus, which I consider to be a type of long white mushroom. I had originally wanted to go to the other asian grocery store which was huge, but it ended up being out of my way so I didn't have time to go, and happen to had found this place by accident, and honestly, I am really happy to know it's here now :)

I really don't know how to explain the concept other than if you are gluten intolerant than this place is made for you! The mother and daughter owners are very friendly. I wish them the best. Beautiful old post office building they have converted into this pretty gluten free eatery/grocery shop.

Well I drove by this marche and was very excited to see a grocery store with gluten free products…read moreetc... And decided to turn the car around and stop and take a look inside. I looked around the whole grocery store to see everything almost at 5$. I can purchase these same products at Loblaws organic section for cheaper. I am concious of my finance and my health however, I do not like seeing a grocery store profiting from their location by supplying healthy products and boosting up their prices. This is my opinion and these products should not be unobtainable and overly priced! I know they just opened but prices should drop if you want me to shop there again. My ice cream small dipped in milk chocolate was almost 5$...and the only reason I got it deap in chocolat for a 1$ more was bwcause they didnt have any chocolat flavor left!! So paid more because they ran out of stock makes total sense... Wild willys is right across I rather go there for much cheaper and they have variety..

Saucissier de L'ouest isn't what you see on the sign. It say something like WunderWurst Saucissier…read morebut there's some smaller sign for with their place they say Saucissier de l'Ouest. So the owner bought the business from a guy that used to be quite sloppy and lacked in cleaniness. Well the current owner revamped that and is clean and listening and trying lot of stuff and is always serving people, always rolling his stock and that's a very good thing to hear about a place where freshness is everything...or Almost. There's also quality and variety. And you he hold 60 kinds of sausages / chorizos / gendarme/ peppeto. Also a pretty interesting selection of Gluten Free sausages. The owner and his wife as pretty much always working there and being successful at it. They have love for what they do. They serve some food in the Marché de l'Ouest food court like burgers and european hotdog with home made fries. Cheap deal for quick eating. I won't go into details about every sausages I've tried there, but I have to say that half would sound about right. I like their Gluten Free sauvages, especially because it's Game Meat and I LOVE GAME MEAT. Also they have some good gluten free breakfast sausages, nothing like you would normally taste. I also like their more casual sausages like Italian, or Chorizo which are natural, no additive and freaking delicious compare to the one you buy in the super market. Smoked saucages! This is delicious! the Swiss Cheese or Debriziner which is spicy smoked german saucages is amazing. Most of the time I go to Marché de l'Ouest, I'll grab at least something to eat there and have a chat with the owner about what's new, what's the good seller of the week, etc.

Euromix my newfound European Gem!…read more I walked in and instantly reminisced my early childhood memories with my grandma shopping for some delicious delicatessen. Most of The food here is imported from Europe and traditional baked goods are found fresh on the daily. The shop is authentic and screams delicious all throughout the store. As you walk in, you are taken into the groceries fresh deli products and the lady greeted us at the start. Fresh smoked/ dried pork delights waiting to be grabbed. We asked to try and they gladly gave us a sample after we tried it we did not hesitate to purchase a large amount. They had anything you can think of fine selection of pork, beef, cheese and fish .. lots of smoked goods mmzzsm smoked salmon fillets, russian black bread , caviar, Cabbage rolls ( Golubsti) , pickled or marinate cabbage galore ( kapusta kapchonaya) dairy products and russian Chocolates. The price tag is a little high but it's imported so you pay more for the good stuff not too much more it's standard pricing for a delicatessen. They even had Pickled barrels of Pickles and green unripe tomatoes to chose from it's rare to find these now a days as everything is in a can or a jar so was pretty appreciative that they kept it served fresh this way from a barrelled jar, There's plenty of interesting and delicious sweets and dry goods imported as well. First time here and I'm happy I discovered it without My mom or grandma so now I can bring them here and help them reminisce with me as well! Wonderful place and wonderful service will definitely be back here again!!
