Walked out as salesman was ordering my suit and was prepared to purchase shirts and ties , But was turned off by the condescending and snide remarks by the by the manager joe, Jake the saleman was helpful but under the watchful of the manager, jake lost over a 600.00 sale because the manager doesn't know anything about customer service and spoke to me like he was the high and mighty of men suit industry. If I'm spending big money in your store I expect to be treated better .. Especially by the manager.I will take my business elsewhere thank you. Sorry jake.. My husband reserved a tuxedo for our son's wedding. He ordered it a month ago - was told by the associate they would call once the tuxedo arrived to the store - that it would be on Monday July 1 - our event was a distance away and wanted to have ample time in case changes were necessary My husband called on the 1st, the 2nd but the tuxedo did not arrive until the July 3rd. The jacket was too small, there was a hole in the pants and the shirt was stained and very dirty I complained because we were leaving Friday July 5th for the venue (hour plus away). The manager Joe was rude and argumentative- we understood about the holiday and that was the reason we waned this suit delivered on July 1st. He basically told me I could have placed this order six years ago and it would have arrived 3 days prior. Joe ordered for husband had a new shirt and jacket to be delivered near the venue on the wedding day July 6th - he lost precious hours with his son waiting over 2 hours for a new jacket and shirt - this jacket was not inspected and had threads on the sleeve- but due to time he had to make due. When my husband called Joe to let him know how disappointed he was with the whole all he did was argue! No apologies. I have gone to this store for years. And I mean around ten or so years. This place has gone WAY downhill. I bought a suit online and wanted to get it tailored and the store. First off, this place is filled with 80 year old employees who cannot use the computers what so ever. But that's not the point. I had to get my suit fitted THREE times. But that's not even the end of it. The last time I went to the store, the guy would not let me borrow a shirt to try on my suit with. He said it was not "store policy" even though I did it the past two times and never had this issue over my tenure of going to this store. But its ok I called up the customer service line and got half off my suit. Plus they are submitting a complaint to the store. I will be buying suits elsewhere for now on. read more

You get what you pay for. This stands true for this chain. This particular location is under very poor management with employees that present themselves in less than stellar fashion. They bait you in with 3 suits for the price of one sale. Sounds good.......or does it? I bought into it and went for their top of the line $1k Joseph suit x's 3 due to the sale. Well let me tell you all seemed well for many years in fact I loved my JAB's suits so I went in again. Happy. Not! Well fast forward 4 years later and 3 of the 6 have ripped in the place where the sun don't shine, destroyed. Their response was, " I was too hard on them"? Hmm well I'm not in construction and I'm not a wrestler. The moral of this sad story is that if you wear suits often don't expect them to hold up, the price is there but the quality is not and that will become abundantly clear in time. Sad. read more

So I brought The Man and his dad here to get suits for a wedding we were attending this summer. They had a Buy 1, Get 3 Free deal going on, so it was a no-brainer to stop in. We'd gotten The Man some shirts and pants at another location, so I already knew the quality was quite good if you could afford the prices. As I said, they have great quality but prices to match. It's helpful that they constantly seem to be running some kind of sale. The only downside is that you're always wondering if you're going to miss a better sale by going in when you do. But yea, B1G3 is about as good as it's going to get if you have to buy a bunch of suits. We happened to go in when a lot of high schoolers were in for their tux fittings (prom... yay), so it was a little hectic. Apparently, a bunch of staff had called out and there were only 2 or 3 people working the store that night. No biggie, we weren't in a rush. We needed 2 suits for each of my guys - grey and black (FIL wasn't going to get a second suit, but has told me since then that he's glad he did). After a quick measuring, we were shown a selection of suits. Almost perfect fits. They needed slight alterations, and the tailor was amazingly quick with marking the suits up. Turns out he was really good at what he does because the suits ended up fitting beautifully when we got them back. The only snafu came when we had to find a black suit for The Man. They didn't have one in the store that was his size, but they said they would honor the sale price and order one from the warehouse for us. No problem... except they dropped the ball and forgot to call when the suit came in. No biggie, though, since we had to go pick up the finished grey suit anyway. It was then that we found out the black suit had been there for several days. But again, not a big deal since we wanted to take care of everything in as few trips as possible anyway. Everyone we encountered at the store was very kind, courteous, and professional. The sales people were quickly able to find what we were looking for, the tailor/s did a great job on the alterations, and all of the suits we purchased look spectacular. 4 suits for under 1k, including tailoring? Took my 16 year old son here for tuxedo rental for his junior prom and received the most fantastic and attentive care from Frank Ku (store manager). We required special care and custom combination of pieces to make my son look his best and the staff (especially Frank Ku) over delivered. Then, with all that, they offered a discount without me even asking. Astounding dedication to detail. Amazing experience for a guy that doesn't normally look for special care. read more

Great service, had a hard time finding a suit in other stores. I went to the shops at Old Bridge, N.J. had a wonderful experience, bought a suit, shirts, socks, even shoes and many more items. The salesman was very professional I will definitely go back, ask for Jake Kriska. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Employees did not know how to do anything and had to call their manager at home. A simple tuxedo rental should not have been this difficult. I will never come back here again. Two thumbs way down. read more

An employee or possibly the manager (an old gentlemen) that works there was trying to take me for ride. When I tried on a jacket, the employee was bullshiting me saying that it fits when I thought it was too tight. He calls another employee to us just so he can have him agree with him. Rahul started to point out that certain jackets were too tight on me even though the employee assured us it wasn't. My brother also said for me to close the bottom button to test if the jacket was truly a good fit which was an innocent request to any normal person. But this is where things took a turn for the worst. The employee was annoyed that my brother was pointing out that the jacket the employee said was a good fit was actually too tight. The employee said the following to my brother: "maybe you should look at the sport coats." My brother asks why and the employee responds, " you're interfering... I'm trying to make a sale." After that comment we walked out without saying a word. My brother, dad and I went to macy's at freehold mall. A young employee helped me out with a suit and I got a nice Calvin klein suit for $250 which is around what one might spend at JoS. A. Bank. This was nicer than any suit at this JoS. A. Bank. When it comes to buying a suit, customer service is key. Don't count on JoS. A. Bank, or at least this one, on having good customer service.
