While still in the salon, my scalp began severely itching. During my blowout, I had to stop the stylist multiple times due to the intensity of the irritation. Within three days, the row shifted and began falling out. This progressed into pain and visible shedding directly along the rows. When I first reached out, I simply asked to have the row reinstalled. I did not accuse anyone or demand a refund. If I believed I had caused the issue, I would have gladly paid to have it corrected. Instead, I was told it may have been caused by pulling or possibly a health issue. At the same time, I was advised to remove the extensions myself using pliers while experiencing pain and hair loss. These explanations conflicted with the fact that symptoms began immediately following the service. The only reason I trimmed a small exposed portion of weft while traveling was because the row had already shifted and was visibly unraveling after the move-up. In a later conversation, it was acknowledged that the situation was not handled professionally. I was told an owner would contact me to discuss it further, but I did not receive that follow-up. For clarity, clients are instructed to contact Lizzy directly rather than the salon regarding services. The extensions were ultimately removed because my natural hair was being compromised. I am sharing this to document my experience and the sequence of events as they occurred.
