The agent we spoke to was friendly and we had to work with him since Allstate is my mother in law's auto insurance company. She's very upset about what she believes are deceptive statements from the agent and feels he lied to trick her into overpaying. I had my homeowners policy since I bought my house a few years ago and was refereed to George (Jorge) by my loan agent. (I will be contacting her since it seems she is still giving him referrals) A few weeks ago I contacted George because my rate had a large increase and was told if I combine my auto policies I could get a discount and id have a quote the next day. I also discussed additional firearms coverage and he said he could not offer this but had some sources and he would also give me this contact information. This few weeks go by and I called his office to actually cancel my policy since I had found better coverage for a lower cost. After the call getting transferred a couple times, George is in the phone. He asks me what is going on and I explain I found better coverage for a lower price and wanted to cancel the policy. He said if I wanted a lower cost he may have some options with another carrier and asked me if I was interested. I asked him to turn the conversation around and I asked him if he would like to save some money or pay more and thought this was a bit ridiculous to ask. (I expect my agent to look out for my best interest as they are more familiar with this business, and coverage limits and associated costs are the two variables being considered here). Again I was told I would have the information the next day. (I had still not seen the auto quote). Needless to say the next day comes by again and I don't hear anything. I call his office and leave a message about not receiving any information and receive an email from him stating: "I got your message. I have been really busy with claim issues and was going to get you the information you requested. I am sorry we lost your business. Good luck to you." I replied to the email and mentioned what I wrote above and he replied again stating: "As I mentioned- I have 5k clients and sometimes I get buried by things are more urgent like claim issues. I work 12 hours per day and I just could not get to it. I am sorry I could not get back to you in time." I replied again and said I had no idea you had so many clients you must have mentioned it to one of the other 4999. I said it honestly sounds like your to busy to handle your client base". I asked if he was still accepting referrals, and his response was: "I have a large staff and yes we accept referrals. I am sorry again for the delay in not getting back to you. I was trying to handle it myself and got backed up. Normally I have my staff handle things and help me." So if you want the personal touch or possibly some of the staff to help, or possibly for some reason want to pay more for your insurance than you need to. And someone that is sorry, then I can only reverse my one star rating that should be a no star and this is your guy. I did mention to him I have not heard the word sorry in business and thought this was pathetic. I looked up the definition of the word to make sure I understood it and yes - I am right on target! (This is why I need the additional firearms coverage) I found a guy that treated me the right way, like I was his only customer. George made me feel like of the "5k" customers he has I was on the bottom of the list. You do have a choice read more

I have been with Allstate /Jorge Bendeck for over 20 years. I am disappointed that my agent doesn't feel the need to execute good customer service. As for the rest of the staff, they are great. Manny has been pleasant and helpful. I recommend that you consider wisely before requesting services from someone that doesn't value a long lasting client. Super BAD SERVICE! Run away as fast as you can far away from this office! They cancelled my policy WITHOUT WARNING PRIOR TO because according to them they did not receive my fax. Wrong! I sent the fax to the number stated in the packet which was their corporate office. The rude staff ADRIANA did not even apologize for their mistake. In fact she was very argumentative and cocky. So if they have communication problems with the corporate office, I pay the price? I have been driving 2 days UNKNOWINGLY without auto insurance!!!! This office ought to be sued. What they are doing is unlawful. We have consumer protection laws in place. I will definitely look into these laws. STAY AWAY from JORGE and ADRIANA from AllState! read more

I purchased a new car in 2014 and was quite honestly appalled by the high rates that my previous insurance carrier quoted. After seeking out a few alternative options, I made the decision to go with Allstate and I couldn't be happier. I have experienced nothing but great things with Jorge/Adriana and they were always available/accessible to me when I had questions about other forms of insurance, billing, updated address, replacement cards, etc. They both really seem to care about my experience and I don't feel like just another number in the Allstate system! read more

I've been with AllState FOREVER -- I've never been with any other auto or home insurance company -- but the agency I was previously really dropped the ball the last few years as my insurance needs got more complex. I was referred to George "Jorge" Bendeck's agency, and I walked out of my first meeting with George extremely impressed and confident that I was in good hands. Unlike the original agency I was with, George insisted on meeting with me face-to-face, and said that he meets with all his clients every 2-3 years in-person to find out how else he can help them. Oh, did you think that was a polite way of upselling? Not at all! George asked me what I studied in school and whether I went to graduate school...I thought it was odd, but it turns out that I qualified for an additional "professional" discount! The other agency KNEW I had my graduate degree and yet never brought up the possibility of a discount (even when I asked, "Are they any other discounts I qualify for besides just good driving?"). He walked me through every single detail of my policies and explained what each thing meant so that I could decide whether it was something I could forego or add, and he did it in a way that was educational. Most other agents would use scare tactics to upsell, but George is all about doing what's best for you. Because of George, I was able to get enough of a discount on my current policies AND pick up a third policy that I already needed -- for the same amount I was paying for the original policies! George is thorough and patient and kind, and his office manager Kimberlee runs a tight ship and knows her stuff.
