REST ASSURED THIS BARBER SHOP IS STILL THE SAME FROM WHEN I LAST POSTED A REVIEW YEARS AGO!!!! the two brothers are still running the shop and empowering the youth, with motivation and guidance. Anyways, after getting my hair cut here for eight plus years i noticed an important factor for why this shop is still running and prospering, it is because the two owners CARE about YOU. The quality is always up to par or above... stay safe P.S. This is not a paid add... the owners never paid or have offered any favors to write this yelp review... Amine 669 92

I highly recommend this barbershop for any age group and any race.

I moved to Stockton 3yrs ago & still continued to go out of my way to give Jason my business. Sadly not only the drive back & fourth & Family Barber Shop only allowing walk in 1st come 1st serve. I respect a persons decision to run their business as they see fit. Not only have I been a loyal client, I work 50 to 70hr work weeks as a Tow Operator & getting in simply so hard & no appointments or an apology to a waiting client of my situation & long term business. After 2 attempts to get in. 7 weeks no haircut. I was ready to shave myself but insist on my flat top. I had to try something else. I broke down & tried a local shop in Stockton. "MYS Barber Shop" off Pacific. Been there many years. 1 man chair & little clientele. Cuts & flat tops $9. Cash only so no debit fees. Full old school Barber Shop experience. Free hand military flat top. Does the straight razor on neck & side burns. Complete with old school shoulder & neck rub. Love ya Jason. Just don't have the time to wait often, in my busy schedule. I finally found someone very local saving me fuel $$$, Time & $4.50 per cut. And willing to set an appt. for regulars. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY Recommend Family Barber Shop. Just make sure to be patient. Im going to miss the atmosphere most. The only reason Jason has such a long wait. Many years of Good Business with Mantecans & The Locals. He's earned 3 chairs & a wait out the door. It's like a Good Auto Mechanic. You do not want a fast one. You want a good one. Jason, Staff & Family Barber Shop is the good cut, conversation. Will try & stop in time to time.
