I've been following sheet since he's been in Oakland. He always takes his time and makes sure everything looks great. Price is average for a cut but the quality you get is superb. Also every cut comes with a rinse which is nice if you plan on going out right after. The interior and vibes are super chill. It is street parking but it is very easy to find a spot. Going to a new barber is always a little scary, but Ive seen good reviews for Shevy in the past, so I wasn't too worried going into this cut. Just a week ago, I heard one of the hosts on 106 KMEL give him a shoutout for his work. Making an appointment was easily done online, I didn't have to wait and was in the chair right away, and am more than happy with the results. Went from a decent mop on my head, to a fresh 3 on top with a bald fade. Shevy def didn't disappoint. When I first heard of him, he was working at another shop, but he recently opened this spot of his own. The place is comfortable and inviting, in a nice location near downtown San Leandro, and time will tell, but today I got great free street parking right out front. I was 5 minutes late but he was very understanding about it and got me started right away, the conversation flowed really smoothly, he's a very kind-hearted and down to earth person who actually makes you feel like he's listening, all while cutting your hair and making you look great. It's one of those "I'll know it when I see it" sort of situations. And I'm judgemental AF to top it all off. So what I'm trying to say is that in all my time I haven't found a permanent barber. No one satisfies. Enter Shevy. Shevy is an artist. There's really no other way to put it. He has my trust since the very first cut. I feel like I can go to Shevy with the most inarticulate description of what I want and he'll find a way to make it happen beautifully.
