I called in and needed a hair and beard cut on short notice for an event and DAMN! Clean cut and ready to dominate. I was linked up with Johnny and he did a killer job. I couldn't recommend this place more. If you are looking for a barbershop experience and not that great clips vibe, this is the spot. Good chat across the shop with all the barbers and some of the clients. I highly recommend this place and the prices are even better for better service. I've been growing my hair for about 9 months, finally had to get the beard and hair done, and glad it was here. Thanks Johnny! Hope you read this.

Our usual barber was not around so had to go to Nhep's. We got this barber that gave my son the worse hair cut ever! Luckily we were able to go see Barber G at Hairlinerz today and he made it all good! Phewww! Never again! You get what you pay for. Can you tell the difference??? See pics attached.

My barber was patient considering I didn't really know how to convey what I wanted for my son's hair. Loved his cut. My son went from grown out curly hair to a short comb over. He looks transformed! Not very clean, hair wasn't swept up after each cut (gross). Guess that's men for you. Lol We will definitely be coming back again to get my son's hair cut here.

The pictures of other girls undercuts is what brought me here, thought I'd be able to DIY my hair on my own, I could not. I forgot the guys name (sorry) but generally felt welcomed, touched it up really well and charged a good price for what it was. It is cash only. Found them super last minute on google on a Saturday morning i called in and they got me in with in 2 hours for a 11 am appt The barber I got name was RED He did a great job on lining up my beard along with a fresh high skin fade He guessed what kind of cut I wanted before I even sat down Nice clean fades and reasonably priced he charged 30$ for razor skin fade with the beard and line up i Left him 40$ for getting me in last minut and killin it Will be back read more

I made an appointment for my nephew. He wanted to be faded up and get some lines and graphics. This 11 year old told me he has to be "drippy". Phi hooked him up and was on time. Don't know my barbers name, sorry. The wait was expected because of the weekend and holidays coming around (45mins). Although I heard from another customer that's the average wait time regardless. I was from out of town and this was the first place that popped on yelp. Price is unbeatable for the detailed cut you get! $12! Atmosphere was friendly, talkative, and busy. If you want to set an appointment ask for Jonny , if you do a walk-in ask for Jonny such a great barber . Had to come here cause my barber from my other spot wasn't there so had to try this place out. Dude messed up my hair a bit, he Didn't do what I ask him too. Misunderstanding, but he kept talking and expected a reply about everything. Plus think he was high, I wasn't getting a good vibe from a Asian dude who was probably a family member just chilling there. Walk in and dude just kept looking at me like I'm gangsta. It's a Asian to Asian thing I guess. Cuts are cheap, but the atmosphere there wasn't to my liking. read more

This the spot. Great service and clean. Peanut cut my sons(2yr old) with no issues and made him feel comfortable, something ain't no one been able to do. Best shop in the valley by far. Having moved out here from the bay we thought we had to keep driving back out there to get a cut but this place and peanut just made our lives easier. Give this place a shot before you go anywhere else. read more

My husband and boys have been going to John for the past 4 years and he never disappoints. Their haircuts come out perfect every time and he is very patient with my 5 year old. They are inexpensive but the quality is top dollar. I definitely recommend John as a barber, you will not be disappointed. read more

First time I went there I took an open chair and received the best fade, line-up, and bread trim that I have ever gotten in my life; by the one and only Zack. Also, it only cost $15, that's crazy cheap for a razor cut. Atmosphere is amazing, most haircut places are always so quiet and melancholy, but Nheps was bustling with chatter about playoffs and motorcycles. Very comfortable place and the wait went fast because everyone was laughing and cracking jokes. Cleanliness is a good, especially for a place that cuts hair for 8 hours straight. I found my new barber for sure and I will be sure to come again every week until I die haha. Can't beat them, cause they're the best. read more

This was the first time bringing my kids here, we used to go to Headlinerz but they obviously didn't need my business since the barber never responded when my kids needed their hair cut. Found this place in Yelp, made an appt this morning and took the kids there this evening. Better, faster, and cheaper! I didn't catch the guy's name but he cuts at the very last chair, nearest the bathroom, he did a great job on my kids hair and Sean's fade looks amazing! We will be coming back again! read more

I took my cousin who was down from the Air Force here. We had a huge family event the next day. So of course we wasn't gonna leave him looking scrubby. This was my first visit not the high rating I was expecting. Opened the door and it was like in the movies when the stranger walks in. No one said "hi" or be right with you just ignored me. There's also a dog inside with a pee mat next to the waiting chairs are you serious?????? I won't be back keep going to chain hair cuts at least they know how to treat customers read more

I had the most disappointing experience with hair extensions done by the owner Talima. I was…read morelooking for a professional hair dresser with hair extensions experience. I decided to stop by haven salon and l was immediately greeted by Talima. I told her what l was looking for and l shared with her my previous experience with hair extensions. She said she was very experienced person and offered me promising results and services. We probably spent a half hour talking about different types of hair extensions, methods, colors and treatments. Long story short, she showed me her profile of clients with hair extensions and she really convinced me. Initially, I paid her $550 and then the remaining balance upon day of installation, a TOTAL OF $ 1,100. l was very excited to try a new method other then sew-in. She advised me to do K-TIPS hair extensions she told me it was the best method and most natural look and depending on the client care the hair extensions would last about six months. But after only 3 weeks my hair extensions were looking horrible and my natural hair was getting seriously damaged. As if that wasn't enough, she blamed it on my "active life style" and the occasional use of dry shampoo which was no different than what I did with my previous extensions. I totally disagree. I had hair extensions for the past two years, they never got damage due to my life style and the quality of the hair extensions was amazing. I just wanted to try something different. I sent Talima photos of the look and she noticed the damage so she offered to remove them right away. I expressed to her my disappointment. She told me that she will contact the hair extension company and find out if the dry shampoo damaged the hair extensions. Later, she got back to me letting me know that the company said YES, it was the dry shampoo that damage the hair extensions. Unbelievable! Lastly, l asked her several times for my receipt for the extensions and for her services, it's been almost a month and Im still waiting for it.

Amazing Barbershop experience! I've gotten several cuts and it's always quality because these barbers know what they are doing! Very experienced which is good. Sometimes I come in and don't even know what type of cut I want to get and they always say don't worry and cut me up perfectly. Johnny, Mike, and Phi are always super kind and make it fun to go get a haircut. One time my family came over all around the US for a wedding and all ten of them ended up getting an awesome cut the day before the wedding which was awesome. You won't be disappointed! read more

The best barbershop in the 209 area HANDS DOWN. I take my 15 year old son here and I am never disappointed. My son is obsessed with his hair so he is picky with who he trust with it. They are up to date with hairstyles and cuts. Super friendly and pricing is affordable. Louie did an amazing job on my haircut, exactly what I wanted! He's super friendly, pays attention to detail, and makes you feel comfortable the whole time.
