This review is long overdue - I have been wanting to write a review about my treatment/experience at Hello Ortho with Dr. Jordan for several months now. To be completely honest, I was very nervous and in a way embarrassed to get braces as an adult - I felt like if I was given braces as an adult, I would be the center of attention at work and with friends at social events. At the same time, I was embarrassed that I did not have straight teeth. It was the one thing I was the most insecure about and the main reason I did not smile in pictures. One day in 2018, I finally found the courage to call Hello Ortho for my first consultation and discuss the possibility of getting braces. I was able to get an appointment soon after calling. I found myself being nervous, worried, and scared of going in for the consultation. During the initial appointment, I shared with Dr. Jordan how I felt about my teeth, how I did a lot of presentations at work, and that I was embarrassed of what people might think - he assured me it was no big deal and that getting braces as an adult was more common than I thought. He truly took the time to listen to my concerns about getting braces as an adult - he presented me with 2 treatments that would be available to make me feel comfortable at work and with friends and family. We did a combination of lingual braces for my upper and bottom teeth so that no one would be able to see the brackets. Once my teeth were straightened, he incorporated a few innovative treatments (with retainers) to finalize the final details for my teeth. Throughout my treatment, I found him to have a very high standard of professionalism, trustworthy, detail oriented, and extremely passionate - about his job and patients. Thank you, Dr. Jordan, for helping me to get over my biggest insecurity in life - I now find myself smiling in every picture, presenting projects at work with an abundance of confidence, and people commenting about my straight teeth. Friendly When you walk in and see their smiling faces, they greet you by name and make you feel right at home. These people are like sunshine! These are genuinely kind, warm people! It's always a pleasure to visit. Organized They have everything functioning seamlessly through all the latest technology. You get reminders via text and email. You can watch Netflix while you get your braces worked on (the TV is on the ceiling!!!). You can check in at iPad station when you arrive (though there has always been someone to greet me, so it's never been necessary!) They have 2 teeth-brushing stations, just in case you forgot, with tooth brushes, mouthwash and floss. Stylish The entire place is beautifully designed and thoughtfully laid out. Plants, flowers, vintage-looking (but new!) toys and art supplies. There are sleek, comfortable chairs (did I mention Netflix on the ceiling above the patient chairs?!?) There's charming, vintage-looking (but new!) art on the walls, beautifully placed. It's really a feast for your eyes that takes your mind off the work that goes into having braces. The entire set-up looks like Wes Anderson himself could have created it. Thorough Every time I have gone into Hello Ortho, the staff has helped me to understand everything that is happening with my braces. They have ways of explaining everything, verbally AND WITH PICTURES AND GRAPHS that helped me to know what to expect with braces and how to care for them. I am a visual learner so I need the pictures. And all of the learning aids they showed me were so well-done, I had to ask, how did you come up with this?!!? As a former school teacher, I was blown away at their comprehensive approach to helping patients to understand this journey with braces. I was extremely pleased with the care I received at Hello Orthodontics! Staff: The staff at this office are always friendly and know each patient by sight. The scheduling is extremely efficient - I never experienced any wait times and received frequent appointment reminders. Ashley and Janet couldn't be any sweeter and bend over backwards for their patients. The Orthodontist: The orthodontist, Dr. Jordan Lumberton, is awesome. He is friendly and approachable, takes his time and shows real interest in his patients. He explains how the treatment is progressing, what changes are being made at each appointment and why. He even sends follow up emails sometimes after an appointment recapturing the progress. I would absolutely recommend this orthodontist for any age and plan to have Dr. Lamberton work on our children's smiles very soon. The office: The office is gorgeous and expertly designed. It is also kid friendly which was a life saver for me, having two young children. My kids loved coming with me to my appointments. They kept themselves busy with coloring, crafts and games. We love Dr Lamberton and his wonderful staff so much that three members of our family are currently undergoing braces with him! The whole process has been a breeze. Ashley was able to look into our insurance immediately and their in-house financing makes paying any out-of-pocket remainder much easier. After the initial consultation, impressions are made the same day. Two weeks later, braces are on and the process begins. Both Dr Lamberton and his assistant Janet have been amazing with my boys. At 40 years old, I decided it was time for braces. My husband, a local dentist said that he trusted Jordan with my smile. He said literally everyone who is treated is happy with the result. Highly recommend this location. Dr. Lamberton is an exceptional orthodontist who can explain procedures carefully while giving you financial options to proceed with your concerns without compromising your desired dental smile. I had a gap that many orthodontist were unwilling to fix given my small teeth. We used invisalign to fix my smile and we cut down the length of time of invisalign use by utilizing acceledent. As an adult, I appreciated this! I was also pregnant at the time and had some concerns, which we discussed and I am so thankful that I proceeded with treatment. I am incredibly happy and now show my beautiful teeth when I smile. I strongly recommend Dr. Lamberton and his team at Hello Ortho. Parking is easy and the building is beautiful and well styled. Fantastic! We all love Hello Ortho. Jordan is not only friendly and accommodating but he also puts my 2 boys at ease. My husband had a terrible mouth because of smoking and a bad type of antibiotics he took when he was little; the transformation we are seeing is incredible. When my husband found out he could actually fix his mouth, he started crying and couldn't sleep for days because of the excitement.
