A much needed restful night. Didn't happen. Trucking company on 2 sides of KOA. Grass area outside of RV full of weeds/stickers. Not allowed to put outside mat down. Not good for dogs/kids. Electrical can't accommodate very many RVs so AC not continuous. Numerous permanent residents. Definitely a 1 night stay, not a destination. read more

This small journey is clean and even with the heavy rains they're experiencing, it's mowed. I didn't realize how important this was to me until I couldn't see my Yorkie-poo in another campground. The staff is very helpful and our site was easy to navigate. Their internet is really good too. read more

This was our first RV overnight spot at a campground. We were very happy with it being a pull-thru and having full hook ups easy to use and set up. Great when traveling off the Interstate and if need to fill up, there is a truck stop right near by. We needed a windshield wiper looked at and the service tech was great to look at it and help us out. There is a dog park and it has a great open feel if you would like to take a walk. Very easy to get in and leave along their marked map. read more

Wasn't the best park I've been to; wasn't the worst. There was some kind of industrial business making a lot of noise during the night; was very flooded inside the park some gravel would do the park wonders. Had decent facilities! read more

They only have 1 bathroom and it is located at the front of the park attached to the office. The bathrooms were clean, but in need of an update. Also I do not think there is any air conditioning as the bathroom was very warm. The grass needs to be cut, it is pretty long. The location is right next to the highway which is very convenient for traveling through. Also it does have a trucker mall kind of kiddie corner which was also pretty convenient getting food after a long day on the road. read more

Stayed here twice..once on our way west, and once on our way back. Pleasant campground, and friendly staff. Only one night each time, and with covid, we didn't interact much with people. Our only complaint was, while paying for a premier spot with patio, we were unable to use it for the thousands of little black bugs flying around. Could not enjoy the spot at all. Normally us, and our dogs would be sitting out, and having our dinner outside the rig. read more

We stayed for a month $575 and $150 electrical deposit. Overall it was an okay campground, the staff was super nice and helpful but the KOA as a whole needs an upgrade. The staff seemed to let anyone do anything without concern. For example one man had 3 dogs he let run off leash all around the camp ground up to other peoples dogs and sites. He also would start and rev his boat as loudly as he could. Another site had a dog that was chained outside everyday and would bark until they would take him in at the end of the day. This went on for the whole month we were there. On the bright side the KOA is right across the road from some fast food places if you need quick and easy food. It also had nice ponds where you could feed fish with free fish food from the front office, and the sites themselves seemed nice and spread out. read more

A fairly large KOA. Majority of sites are not shaded. Grass was long. Bathrooms at the check in area only. They are clean but old which is okay. Next to no campers here and we get the site with no shade. Deck falling off one deluxe cabin. Pool closed down. Courteous people. Check out is 10 am. We did not realize this and left at 10:51 am and they didn't say anything. Also, they did start mowing the lawn this morning. OK place to stop for an overnight read more

While the folks were courteous, this campground is not up to normal KOA standards. An air of neglect, long grass, unkempt looking, pool inop. Okay for one night, but if I had booked for longer, I'd be very unhappy. read more

This place is awesome! Reasonable and the managers are the sweetest! We were on the road and last minute decided we needed a shower and a quiet place to sleep for the night. I googled the nearest KOA and called to make sure they had an open spot, especially since it was Labor Day weekend, they did and they offered to wait for us to arrive before closing. The whole check in process was pleasant, they were very accommodating. One of the managers was already out in the golf cart, ready to escort us to our spot. She got off her golf cart and made sure we were parked in the right spot, showed us where the hook ups. If you get the chance, please stay here! read more

Many sites need more gravel. Permanents live there. One dumpster far away that I saw. Ok overnight if weather is dry only, barely.

I really enjoyed the ambiance and hospitality of this KOA. Obviously, you get certain things with a KOA depending on your choice, however I felt like this KOA went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The hosts were super friendly and chatty, and our cabin was warmed and ready for our stay. We had cable with a tv and a pond-front view. We checked in a bit later, and our key, map, and codes were ready for us and easy to follow. Bathrooms and showers were clean and well kept (a host checked on it both days while I was using them), and the laundry room was well maintained. Close to gas, souvenir shopping, coffee/cafe, liquor store, and even a fireworks stand. Highly recommended! I enjoyed this far more than any hotel on our trip! read more

Absolutely horrible place!!!! Worst KOA I've ever been to...... dirty, the staff is so rude and horrible I can't even believe it! Thinking about turning them into the business buro....... we travel nothing but KOAs for work purposes and this was the worst! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Also, more expensive then any other KOA I've been to..... they rip u off on fire wood. 10.00 there and $5 every other KOA we've been to. Plus the pool is so run down. The dog park is the smallest and nastiest.... very very very rude mean people every one of them that work there. read more

The experience when we pulled in was an empty campground and not so well maintained grounds. The attitude of the host who directed us to our site explains the reason why. He was very unhappy about everything, even our request to be away from others instead of right next to someone. There were 50 plus open spaces. He was rude and even made a snide remark to us. As I looked in the KOA app it says he and his family moved here to run this park. Maybe a bad decision on his part and the owners to have him represent this KOA. We will not stay here again. Wifi doesn't work either. read more

This KOA is not like other KOA's I've been to. It's fine if you need a place to crash but the bathrooms/showers are so old and smelled. It's right off the interstate, so if you're picky with noises, this isn't for you. Workers began mowing the property at 8am on a Sunday, not ideal. read more

Nice friendly people work here. Pretty good size park with kitchen, catch-and-release pond, laundry, etc.... There's six Kabins and sites for all types of camping. It's less-expensive than nearby KOAs. We stayed here last night, and I'm beginning to think we'll have no reason to leave tomorrow. read more

We came here expecting to stay Friday and Saturday night. We checked out first thing Saturday morning. Luckily we only live an hour away and didn't waste a lot of gas getting here. When my wife made the reservations I seen on the map it was right next to 44 between two truck stops. I told her it would be insanely loud. She sent me a pic of a review of someone saying how quite and peaceful it is. Oh well. Must be in cahoots. The staff was really nice. There is a small fishpond. They will give you free food to feed the catfish, carp and turtles. If you can block out the noise of semis engine braking off 44 into the truck stops you might enjoy it. It you look behind you there is a firework and liquor store. You can see the truck stop from our camp site. There is a small pool. It's clean. I took my dog over to the "dog park" it's a small fenced in area void of anything but a trash can and plastic bags to pick up poop. Clearly something that is there just so they can say they have a "dog park" The catch and release pond is a rectangle puddle stocked with cats and perch. It's devoid of any trees around it. As are much of the campsites. Just looked junky. Not enjoyable to hang around and cast a line. Over all if you have a well insulated noise killing rv or you are hearing impaired and just want a place to sleep for the night with out enjoying the outdoors this is for you. If you actually want to fish or anything go somewhere else. I seen some military guys pitch tents for a rest on there journey because it's cheap compared to a motel. To bad they probably didn't sleep. We sure didn't. After we got home my wife took a huge nap. I stood up to keep from getting my schedule out of whack. I wouldn't stay here for free. It feels odd bashing this place so hard with how nice the people were. Maybe that's why it looks as good as it does on paper. Kinda like the dog toilet... I mean park. read more

The ladies working at this koa are cool,but the man at the desk wasn't nice at all,and the lawn boy said we couldn't pick sticks up off the ground to make a fire and charged us $10 for some of the wood they had split on site and he pocketed the money and harassed people camping every chance he got.And as far as the tent section goes,a few spots have no shade,total waste of time and $$$ read more
