I was very impressed with how quickly Jon came out to evaluate my problems with the well. I had told him that I had already spent a Friday and Monday awaiting a well person and was concerned if he would come today or tomorrow for sure. He told me he would be at my home tomorrow at the latest. The next thing I knew, he was calling saying he was just minutes away. By the description Jon first said he thought I may require a new well, but before declaring that as definite, he hooked up a gas run pump and determined that my well was still plenty full of water and a new well was not needed. He gave me the choice of my handyman or him doing the changing of a new pump. At first I was going to have Jon do the work but I know he is swamped with wells needing to be drilled. He told me that what needed to be done "was not rocket science" and if I am confident with my handyman, it would be fine. I felt guilty not using him for the pump installation but I could get the new pump tomorrow with my handyman and it would have been a couple days for Jon to get the pump. Jon was very kind and didn't make me feel badly for cutting him out on the pump. He was very efficient in determining that the well was still fine. He was able to tell me pieces that were likely causing issues with the pump. He was very generous with his knowledge and I will definitely keep his number in case my well does indeed fail. read more

Bought my first house in Deland 3 years ago and all the neighbors recommended Jon. Jon put in the new well. We bought number 2 house as a guest house and we found Jon is now on his own and giving the same great services and customer satisfaction. He is very knowledgeable about both the pump and well that we only trust Jon to deliver great products and service. We don't need a new well this time but we need a new tank. I am upset that "Chris S" would say Jon would be so aggressive to call and ask for someone to use him instead of another company. Jon whom I only know from business is very ethical and professional. "Chris S" fails to mention that he has ties to the old company jon worked for 19 years. He was the face of that company for 19 years. They didnt mind using him to grow their company. I called and asked Jon's Pump and Well to come over and give me a maintenance service. John found the control box terminal strip had some significant melting at the yellow wire. I made the decision to replace the control box. I do have iron allergy which was found when we had to replace the pump 2 or 3 years ago so I ask Jon if he would test the water quality. I had been told by two companies that I needed water conditioning equipment but Jon, who I trust, showed me that I have negligible iron and very little hardness. Thank you for your help Jon! I have know Jon since the day he started working at Tuck's many years ago and he has never been anything but through and absolutely honest which was always one of Tuck's bragging points. I had a problem with my well and I called for a service call. I spoke to the owner of the company Jon, I told him what was going on with my well. He told me to look at a few things to see if could help me fix it myself. Not being very handy it didn't work. This was a weekend and I knew it was going to cost extra. Jon came out and had my well back up and running in no time. He also showed me a few things that I needed to get fixed all my fault (weeds,loose wires and a new hose bib) he spent about 2 hours talking to me and repairing the well. When he gave me the invoice I almost passed out, he charged me a whopping $50.00!! I now have a trusted and friendly well guy. Again, thank you Jon. read more

We had a problem with our pump recently and thought our well had collapsed. Jon and his son responded to our call, and even though we are way out of their service area, they arrived after 6:00 pm on a Friday evening, after having already put in a full day of work. They quickly diagnosed the problem as a pump, installed earlier in the day by another company, was not the right pump to meet our need and found a cracked pipe coming out of the well - after being without water for over 24 hours, they had us up and running within an hour of their arrival. Called this company and Jon answered. Told him about my well not working. He said he can come out right now and he did. I think it took him 2 min's to find the problem and 20 min's to fix. Note to the owner-that is INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL and UNETHICAL and you should be ashamed of yourself for doing that. I highly recommend this company I called them with my pump issues and instead of them coming over and charging me they diagnosed it over the phone and I was able to do the repair myself not many companies will do that!
