Dr. Peters does not adequately deal with concerns after your procedure. She is very nice when…read morescheduling your procedure and prior but after your procedure if you still have pain or have struggles due to the procedure itself she brushes you off. I had laparoscopic surgery with her and when struggling months later due to pain in the incision areas she did not wish to examine me or order me proper imaging of my stomach saying this is out of her wheel house she cannot interpret it, even though she cut me open in my stomach so why are you cutting people open if you are unfamiliar with the stomach area?. She offered me no remedy or help although the issues were from her surgery . I have talked to other previous patients that have been dismissed after having pain after surgery, one who told me they were left in tears and she basically told them to leave the office. This patient claims they then had a procedure with another surgeon who found more endometriosis afterwards. If you would like to see this doctor as your surgeon and have no issues, you may be fine. However, once you have your procedure if you have any issues know that she is done with you- patients to her are just numbers and she's chasing her next surgery not making sure everything is OK with the surgeries She's already done.

She added Saturday hours, fit in her patient within 2 days of calling! Amazing! She goes the extra mile to explain in detail about any diagnosis's and makes sure that it's a mutually agreed upon care plan with complete understanding! From the point of calling her office speaking with Massai who was extremely professional and knowledgeable, scheduled within 2 days!! Patrice (Dr. Peters assistant), when arriving to and checking out at the Columbia MD office she was very kind, knowledgeable, efficient, and thorough. Patrice was excellent and efficient in setting up surgery as soon as possible too. Each interaction with Dr. Peters and her staff was a perfect example of 5 star care to include pre-op and post-op as well. Surgery by Dr. Peters at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore went smoothly with the same interactions from checking in to checking out, each staff member was courteous, knowledgeable, respectful, thorough in duty, and kind. Dr. Peters is one of the best physicians I've ever known, she REALLY cares and makes herself available to her patients! Highly recommended! Thanks for making a difference Dr. Peters!

I've been a patient at Women's Wellness MD since November 2025 & I am SOOO grateful I found this…read morepractice. As a Black woman- finding a Black GYN who made me feel genuinely cared for meant more to me than I can fully explain. I saw Dr. Okasi and immediately felt comfortable. She's professional, knowledgable, but most importantly patient & thorough. I've also been seen by Brittany Abbate, PA, for my annual this week, and she was phenomenal. She was professional, gentle, attentive and soooo informative on next steps that made the most sense. Lastly I truly appreciate Sami in the front office. I haven't met her in person to get a chance to really tell her this but she is a GEM! she's always quick in communication, emails, and text messages for any questions/ anything appt related. I truly feel like I finally a practice I've been praying for. I highly recommend Women's Wellness MD to anyone looking for compassionate professionals. (sorry for super long review but everyone is just amazing)

I was referred to this facility by my primary care physician and scheduled an appointment. After…read morereceiving a confirmation call, I was informed that I would need to pay for a service that my insurance had already confirmed would be covered, so I decided to cancel the appointment. However, 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time, I received a call stating that the copay was not necessary and that the previous information was incorrect. I was told that I could still come in for my appointment, so I did, as I was only 12 minutes away. Upon arrival, I noticed that the facility appeared outdated and poorly maintained, which made me question the quality of the testing. In the exam room, the chair looked like it hadn't been updated in decades, which caused me to question the quality and cleanliness. They used a basic Amazon scale to take my weight. Nothing up to my standard in a matter of 10 minutes. Within the appointment I requested a specific test that should have been included, but I was informed that there would be an additional charge. At this point, I declined further service and left, as I had already suspected they might try to upcharge for every service without regard for patient care. Unfortunately, my suspicions were confirmed when I later received a $35 bill for leaving. I strongly do not recommend this facility. It seems more focused on profit than on patient care. Instead of charging unnecessary fees, perhaps they should invest in updating their equipment. Might I add, no service was provided. I asked the nurse to confirm any charges before changing into the paper gown and having any service provided.

I've had several pap smears in my life since I am of a certain age. The experience I had here was…read morepainful, I felt like the doctor used a much larger speculum than necessary as insertion and especially pulling out hurt. The day after, my lower back hurt a LOT. This has never happened before and the pain lasted for 2 days. This also sounds weird but the very second the doctor went to my crotch during the pelvic exam (I could not see her because of the gown covering my legs), I could hear laughter erupt right outside the room. After the appointment when I went to check out, I made eye contact with 2 receptionists who were smirking at me in a way that would suggest that they knew something or were laughing at me specifically. I did a double-take because I was taken aback by these looks. They caught my eye again and avoided my gaze afterwards. This might seem like nothing but the combination of the well-timed laughter, the looks of malicious glee from the 2 receptionists, as well as an uncomfortable smirk from the doctor herself as she looked down at my body when escorting me out of the room (after pelvic exam and breast exam), leads me to believe that my privacy was deeply violated. I'm not sure what exactly happened but I feel extremely uncomfortable by my experience and I won't be coming back.

She doesn't…read morerush through the appointments and just really takes the time to listen and even asks "what else?", giving me the time to really open up with any questions or concerns. The rest of the office staff are lovey, too. And during a really difficult health experience I had recently, the office called and checked in with me outside of any visits just to see how I was doing--just a little touch of human compassion like that can really go a long way. Plus, the gowns they give you to wear during your exams at this office are real cotton gowns that can fully wrap around you instead of those cheap paper "gowns" some clinics give that are scratchy and don't cover anything. Little touches like that just makes coming to this office feel so much more dignified and cared for than some other places I've been.
