I have not used this coming for security services and based on how I witnessed one of the employees act today I would NEVER use them! I live in San Jose and was driving on the 880 freeway and witnessed the driver of the security vehicle get into a road rage incident with a civilian in another vehicle. The driver was sticking his head out of the window screaming GO at the civilian. He then began to drive erratically swerving in and out of lanes almost causing multiple accidents. The security driver then pulled off to the shoulder cutting of the civilian forcing him to come to a stop on the shoulder of the freeway. The security driver got out of his car and began approaching the civilian driver. He was yelling and screaming and throwing his arms wildly in the air! I believed I was going to witness a fight on the side of the roadway. The civilian driver looked very scared and frantically but his car in reverse and was able to get out of there before the security driver approached his vehicle. Very traumatic for me to witness on my morning commute. When I called the security office to report what I witnessed the gentleman who answered the phone said he immediately knew which driver I was talking about and said the situation will be taken care of. Scary to think someone who is supposed to serve and protect is starting road rage fights on the freeway. Think twice before using this company for service. read more

I needed a live scan done with quick turnaround, Jones Protective Services was able to do that! I booked the appointment the day before, and the appointment itself took just under 30 minutes. James was friendly and quick. You have call the phone number (posted on the window near the call box) to let them know you are there. When you do, they make sure to ask if you are wearing a mask, which I appreciated a lot. Once someone comes down to let you into the building, they also check your temperature and ask if you have experienced any COVID symptoms. Once you are taken up to the business, they also make sure that the table with the fingerprint scanner is 6 feet away from the person administering the live scan. This was a very safe experience. James was very friendly and quick at his job. I especially appreciated that when someone entered the room the live scan was in, James reminded them that he was with a client and they needed to have their mask on. Their live scans are also DOJ and FBI approved if you need that service and can be made just a day in advance. It was a little pricier than some of the live scans in the area. It was around $70 when some were half the price, but I needed the quick turnaround and appreciated their service! I would definitely recommend their live scan services! read more

The people in this establishment are super friendly and fun to chat with. Their COVID protocols make, even me, feel safe and I'm super paranoid about this pandemic :). James came down to pick me up at the door. He took my temperature, made sure I had mask on and asked a few questions before letting me into the building. Le-Creea was the one doing the fingerprinting - she's great and very thorough. She made sure that my fingerprints are readable so there wouldn't be any problems. Made an appointment for notary service. Everyone is friendly, and service was prompt. Good COVID measures: They took my temperature and asked a few screening questions before letting me into the building, and they also offered hand sanitizers and wipes throughout the place. I went in for a live scan today. I went about 30 minutes before closing time. Normally in San Francisco things shut down early so I wasn't expecting to get it done but Jones protective services were able to let me do the live scan and within 30 minutes everything was done. I have never had to do a LiveScan fingerprinting before and when I called them I thought it was going to be like going to the DMV (where everyone working there just hates their job and is almost dead inside) but that wasn't the case here. Ms. Williams answered my call and she had such a bubbly and uplifting attitude, and she was able to let me come in the same day saying "we're going to have some fun over here!". and she was right. My boyfriend came along with me, for we had some shopping to do together in the area, and we had a blast. We were all talking and having fun and joking around, just making the first time experience so much better. The actual scan itself was quick and easy. Mr. Jones and staff was there as well and they were just so kind and helpful with giving me information about getting my guard card and where I can apply to places.
