So, my doctor suggested getting some blood work to make sure everything is working like it should. I stopped in here on a Monday morning (convenient parking out front) and after going through the double entry, checked in at the front window. After signing in and showing them my insurance card, I grabbed a seat. There was only one person ahead of me and within about 10 minutes, I was taken back to one of the processing rooms. The staff was friendly and expert at doing the blood draw which isn't a big deal for me, but I can see having someone who is calm and friendly might be helpful for the folks who are squeamish about blood or needles. I got my arm wrapped with a cotton ball and a gauze and was out the door about about 2 minutes after being taken back there! Amazing! My only caution is that this lab is across the street from another lab which can be confusing, especially if your insurance only works at one of them. This is the one on the west side of the street! We are always in and out very quickly. This location does take a lunch break and it is closed for 1 hour from 12:30-1:30. It didn't list this on the website and the only number I could find was a main one where the woman told me they never closes, which I knew was un-true. I just forgot what time they closed. Luckily we made it with half hour to spare.

It took a little more time to find it. Their signage could be better since there is another Lab across the street. In any event they took me and very efficient and quick. They coordinated with my insurance company right on the spot and one of the panels wasn't covered by my insurance co. cost me out of pocket $15.00. I bet all of that plus 4 test tubes of blood took all of about 15 minutes and I was back in my car!

They offer a very wide variety of labs, among other things! I'd been to the Carmel location once, but this location is closer to me. Parking is available on the street in front of the building. There *is* a lot behind the building, but spots have reserved signs and there's a towing notice. I wouldn't risk it. Thankfully, I was able to find an easy spot right out front. I had a slew of blood work I was getting this day. The phlebotomist was very kind--and running the whole place herself! She told me she had 18 years of experience and it showed. We had some trouble with getting my blood at first. She had to wiggle the needle a bit, but I didn't feel a thing! And she quickly got the vials we needed. Results were back in about five business days. I had two tests that were more rare in this set. Typically, you can expect results back in 2-5 days. I'll definitely come back here as needed. It's clean, easy, professional, and pretty affordable for those without insurance coverage for whatever reason.

They accept walk ins, but you can also schedule an appointment on line. They don't bill insurance, but I have a high deductible so I was going to be paying either way. Doctor called for at least 6 test and the cost was $240.00 which was fine with me. The woman working, who's name is Tuesday, was very friendly and definitely had the skills for an easy blood draw. I've had previous experiences else where that did not go so well. Tuesday has exemplary phlebotomist skills! It was fast and painless. I'd liken it to a butterfly landing on my arm. But if you choose to walk in it's best to do it early in the morning. I did a walk in at 8:45am and I was seen a little before 9am even though it said I would have to wait until 9:15am. The phlebotomist was very gentle and had listened to my tips on what to use to draw my blood. The employee I had was quick and efficient. The waiting area was clean.
