Josh Jones and his team are not just experienced and professional, they came out to my build site when we were devastated in 2016 by sustained 90+mph winds and personally helped me recover and clean up what was left, all on their own time. They completed my excavation for my foundation and did a septic install and were always reliable. His team of employees are friendly and hard-working individuals, and his estimates and pricing are transparent and fair. Working with the public can be hard, and it is my estimation that the reviews here with one star are unrealistic, whinny snowflakes who have no idea what this kind of work demands. Hour and a half late...pfff. Rude and dismissive...not Jesse. They are quite capable of telling you the TRUTH you may not want to hear if it requires it. None of these guys are gonna sugarcoat your situation if you are being a dumb ass. It's also unrealistic to demand a fixed bid for work from ANY contractor where further troubleshooting or uncovering is needed to determine necessary procedures or materials that may be required to repair your situation. It's not their fault, only your bad luck, that means a given problem was worse than initially believed! Suck it up, buttercup! Construction is hard, messy, and often unpredictable. Most snowflakes with little experience with it get emotionally volatile and lash out at real professionals just because they want someone to blame for their problem. It happens to doctors all the time. The best answer is to let the pro's handle it from beginning to end, cope with the struggles or surprises without psychotic, apaplectic episodes, and deal with the true costs of what it is you need. If you get this and are easy to work with and play well with others, Jones Excavating and Plumbing is your answer. If you don't, go get a puppy and a baba and sit down in the corner and suck your thumb. My repeated experience with Josh and his crew has always been fun, positive, and I can't thank them enough for the neighborly love they showed to me and my wife when we were wiped out by a freak storm. This is the 2nd time in 2 months that I've needed to call a reliable plumber. The first time is when my brand new clothes washer kept spilling out on the floor. Larry at Jones Plumbing came out and snaked the pipes, even the main drain, and determined that the new commercial washer was pumping out more water, faster, than my old machine. He designed a new apparatus on the drain and now I can do as much laundry as I want without a spill. I waited a few months to call them back to repair a hydrant in my barn that was freezing up. Neighbors told me I would need a backhoe to dig up the current system for repairs. Larry showed up again, and in less than 20 minutes he had it working beautifully....it needed a new bolt ...1/2 hour call versus several thousand for a backhoe. I live north of Wellington and own a 4-plex in Loveland. I have now used Jones Excavating and Plumbing twice over a two year period. First job: A Loveland plumbing company I've used before was unable to do this job. They referred me to Jones E&P in Berthod. Jones responded quickly to my need, and the job was competently completed. Second job: This time, I had an elderly tenant with an urgent plumbing situation that needed attention that day. I called Jones E&P's office first, and again, even though they were fully booked for the day, after I explained the extenuating circumstances to the office manager, I receive a call from the plumber. He was able "to fit us in" between two "booked" appointments, the latter being in Ft. Collins. Although he didn't say just how he could fit us in, I'm pretty sure he missed lunch that day. For me, it's been (1) caring people, (2) doing skilled quality work, and (3) at reasonable prices. read more

A while back we had our hot water die one Friday afternoon . To add to the situation it was a holiday weekend. We have always called Jones Plumbing for little problems in the past. But this was a CODE BLUE household disaster! Jones plumbing was able to not only get our 40 gallon hot water heater replaced that day.(With a 50 gallon water heater) When one of the employees had to leave because of vacation, Josh Jones, owner, relieved him at the job site. The employee was very grateful and I was very relieved. My wife was happy and Jones Plumbing once again saved the day. I am also also very happy because we did not have to spend the weekend in a hotel. Jones Plumbing is the best from top to bottom. I had trouble with my kitchen sprayer and wanted someone I could trust to look at it and fix it. The office staff were very helpfu and sent someone over soon thereafter. The plumber new what the problem was and tried to fix it but my sink's faucet was so old it was encrusted and ready to break. We decided to replace it and he gave us the option of getting our own from a store that sold them or he could bring one but he pointed out how that would be more expensive. We went out, found a replacement, called him, and he installed it without a problem. And the charge was surprisingly lower than what we expected, plus we appreciated the concern for our finances. And they even gave us a senior discount! Great service and friendly people all around. read more

Jones Plumbing has provided excellent service, usually same day for both our farms and homes. The staff are always courteous and explain their diagnosis and proposed resolution. They perform excellent work They always leave a very clean worksite. The staff also appreciate our horses, who do find their automatic waters, etc., working again. Office staff are wonderful, helpful and communicate to let us know arrival times etc. Jones is the best service company I have worked with in 40 years of hospital administration( including construction responsibilities) and farm and home ownership. Jones Plumbing is wonderful. We first started using them when we bought our new/old home in 1987, and have never been disappointed with their work. We had an awesome experience with Jones Excavating and Plumbing. Our hot water heater broke over the weekend causing some minor flooding in our basement. There was no shut off valve on our old heater so we had to turn off the main water source. We called Jones first thing Monday morning and they were able to come out, put in a new water heater AND install a shut off valve. Everything was done by early afternoon that same day. we had to replace our 50 gallon water heater unexpectedly. Jones plumbing came out promptly the same day we found that it had sprung a leak. The installer was very efficient put tarps down on the stairway where he had to take the old water heater out and bring the new one back in and did an excellent job of installing it.
