The food was great. The Bam Bam shrimp tacos were soooo good! My only complaint is that there really weren't many sanitary measures taken. The COVID-19 restrictions were just lifted but no employees were wearing masks and there were no capacity requirements and people were packed in the bar area as if nothing ever happened. read more

Card Users Beware!! This is a regular place we eat at. The service was great and the food was good. So why the low score? Because they are now charging a 3% service for on all debit and credit cards. They don't tell you this until you get the ticket and unless you read it carefully, you won't see where they will charge on all card transactions. We thought it was low down and sneaky the way they are doing this. Is this what other restaurants are going to do? Or is it just another way that the corporation has found to gouge the customers? read more

Great atmosphere and very busy, but fantastic service and great selection of drinks and good menu for everyone!

Went here for lunch today, first visit. First impression was not great as there was no staff present when I arrived and the place smelled like dirty mop water. Likely that was the source as I know what that smells like. I ordered the Waldorf chicken salad and it was very good, would definitely recommend it. Others at the table had the club sandwich and remarked that it was average. Table service was adequate. read more

Great place and the service has always been both attentive and kind. Good food and drinks.

Service is hit and miss. Food is OK. It's a sports bar so don't be able to talk to anyone because it is so loud at times you can't hear yourself think let alone somebody else talk. There are other places that are more fun and less crazy. read more

Birthday lunch at Jonathan's grill was delicious! We ordered hot chicken wings, a hamburger and a large Pizza( conniver). Service was excellent! I can I'll be back! I think the pizza was the best! read more

Constantly understaffed. NOT DUE TO COVID. Servers must quit here often? Today there were 2 people for the entire bar area of.....60+ patrons. I sat at a table for 15 minutes, no one ever came over, so I got up and told someone to help me please. It smells like bleach and Lysol. I like clean places but the smell sucks. The floors are tacky and sticky everywhere. So whatever they are cleaning with, sucks. This was THE PLACE to go to, and still gets tons of people visiting it. But when I visited, everyone is mad bc of cleanliness, smell, and staffing. read more

Visited this restaurant a couple if days ago and wasn't pleased. I got the humus and shared fried pickles with my daughter for lunch. The veggies were wilted and after eating the humus for a bit felt sick. I pulled it out for dinner and just about threw up after trying again. Didn't sleep at all Friday night because was so sick with food poisoning. The service deserves a separate good rating of 4. She was attentive and had a nice attitude. We enjoyed her. read more

Food is very hit or miss. Heavy on the miss. And overpriced for the quality. Dined here last weekend and it was disappointing. My bf's chicken tenders were over cooked. In my pasta dish I asked to swap the mushrooms for extra sun-dried tomatoes and they were still scarce throughout the dish. Our waitress Savannah was unfriendly and looked physically pained to crack a fake smile. Seemed like she was rushing us too. Ambiance is okay if you want to be surrounded by whatever sports are on. read more

So good! The queso and the avocado chicken club was awesome! Server was very sweet also. Come early, it was packed!

I been wanting to stop by this restaurant for awhile now. I pass by it every day when I'm at work. It's really nice inside. They have several TVs around the bar area. They are little on the expensive side in my opinion. I came here for lunch. I just got their French onion soup. It was ok but I have had better. The melted cheese was hard to eat. It was a little (stringy). I couldn't chew the melted cheese even with my teeth. The onion in the soup was pretty good. Customer Service: I walked in and asked if they had any lunch specials and they said no. I decided to sit in the bar area at a table. I placed and order the French onion soup and it was ready in about 10 minutes. I asked the waiter for the some crackers when he brought it out which he forgot about. They also let me run out of something to drink. I needed a refill and got impatient after about 10 minutes. So, I got up and walked up the bar to ask for a refill. A manager saw me and she came over to help me. I think the bartender trying to take care of everyone in the bar area and bar tables was a little bit too much for her. Furthermore, after taking my order, my waitress didn't check back on me. read more

This place is always packed. I was so curious one day that I decided to find out why. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by a hostess and seat to your table. The inside is quite larger. The front part of the restaurant is dining while the back is tailored for the bar/ after work crowd. We sat down to order a soda, whiskey and food. The Bam Bam Shrimp is a great chose for an appetizer. I suggest getting two because it was hard to share this appetizer. My fiancé didn't enjoy his Bison burger but we both enjoyed my Bistro Burger. The burger was a little undercooked for Medium but it was tasty. I wouldn't say it's the best burger in Nashville but it will pair well with a beer or two. This definitely is a family place and I see why they bring in a crowd. The live music, drinks and the many choices on the menu give you much to choose from. I do recommend you to come and to try something on the menu. It's a hit or miss with the food but the music and drinks will keep you in there for hours. read more

My family and I are in town for a couple's trip. I was in charge of food choices. When we arrive, we were told we would have to wait 30 minutes to an hour. We only waited 30 minutes. Once seated, they had a booth for us, it was 8 so we requested a table. The waiter was very prompt and got a table for us. We ordered starters, buffalo chicken dip and the southwest egg rolls, they were both great. Our entrees were all great. I had the bam bam tacos and the sweet potato fries. Our server was amazing, I forgot her name but she was made sure we were okay. I would definitely come back when I visit read more

Jonathan's Grille - a menu on a table - American Near Me - Mount Juliet, Tennessee

Waited to for a table on the patio (had a dog with us) for over an hour. There were empty tables. Finally, went to the back patio where it was self-seating. Advised host staff that tables needed to be cleared. They told me to tell the one person who was working the back patio. It was not their problem. Waitress came and cleared the table, left menus and took our drink order (water). We perused the menu for food for 45 minutes and she never returned to take our order. We finally left and grabbed fast-food elsewhere. When I posted the review on their site, I got the standard response - "We would like more details." I provided them. No response. Never again. Can't comment on the food because we never got any and, obviously, the service is subpar. Update: I amended my rating because someone in corporate or management reached out to me and assured me that the issues had been addressed with the entire team and training was going to improve. I trust that the issues will be resolved. read more

A+. If you want to go somewhere with a relaxed atmosphere and feel normal, you will want to come here. Some people are butt hurt because they don't require masks, and some of the servers don't even wear them. I say GOOD FOR THEM. The wings are awesome and the people are cool. Great happy hour specials. Come here if you are normal. read more

Nashville hot chicken sliders, fried pickles, Mahi sandwich and black bean veggie burger were all amazing! Very memorable and unique to the area! Fans on the patio would be great, and noticed no face masks on the servers, no socially spaced tables, and two tables were filled with dirty dishes when we arrived and still there when we left, so cleanliness doesn't appear to be a top priority. read more

Ate there this weekend with my mom and entire family for Mother's Day. Not only did they get us in quicker than what we expected, the food was incredible. I was thinking that the entire time I was eating, then afterwards, my other family members said, wow - was your food as good as mine was?? We were so impressed! The quality and presentation of every meal was superb. I would eat here again tomorrow! read more

This was a favorite local restaurant for my wife and I. Average food but a nice place to stop. My wife and I ate here nearly every week. Prices have kept increasing, so already more expensive than others like it. Now, they are adding 3% if you pay with a card!! No justification for that, other than pure greed. They've lost a loyal customer today. We will not return. ...and I should mention they were out of carbonation, so no fountain soda or draft beer....still 3% more though.... read more

Always good food, service, and atmosphere! I haven't had anything I didn't like! And I try to try something different every time I go. From appetizers like the Bam Bam Shrimp to the craveable Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwich dessert! Great Happy Hour specials and extensive menu! This is our "go to" for Happy Hour and Late Night! They're open 'til 2am on Fri and Sat night y'all!! And 12am the other days of the week. If you leave here hungry or thirsty, that's ALL on YOU!! read more

Decent place. Wings were good. We were seated quickly and the beer was good. The Philly was mediocre and the sweet potato fries were coated I. Cinnamon sugar which I thought was gross. I order them often at different places and usually they just use salt. Place was decent but don't have high expectations. read more

I do love this place for the tacos. The 2 for 1 specials is always great as well. They do bring you two at a time which is a big plus for me. Service has always been good here. Hadn't had any issues. We will always come to here when we are in town. The pizza is great too read more

No soup for you! We ordered 2 French onion soups, salad and prime rib dinners... the waitress asked did we want the soup before the prime rib. Yes we said, (um who has their soup served after the dinner or with?). The Two dinners come out before we had any soup or salad. The waitress comes out after we were served and said "can I get you anything else?" I asked about the soup.. and the salads... and she said she would go get them. I said forget the soup at this point. We were missing the baked potato for one of the prime ribs as well. My husband had to ask several times for his drink. Even when we were served our waitress didn't come back to check on us. Bathroom floor in women's room was flooded and a toilet was clogged/out of order. Men's room- a garbage bag was wrapped around a urinal. Disappointing. Not impressed. read more

I've been to Jonathan's before and usually find it totall adequate. However, this latest time was abysmal. We arrived during a busy time and they said it would be about 45 minutes. No problem. They took our name and number and we waiting. After an hour and a half the front lobby was empty and they were seating people immediately. When we asked the host they claimed they texted us a while back but I never got anything. Upon checking their phone they realized they texted the wrong number (but wrote down the correct one). Once seated, the service was horrible. They took forever to take our orders and never remembered to bring us silverware or refills. The cocktail drinks were a mess, with them having gone to take out glass to clean it to prepare another drink for us. Even the water never was refilled after asking 20 mi idea earlier before we finally paid and left without any refill. Definitely a horrible horrible experience and not worth the cost. read more

We used to eat at the different locations often, but have decided to not go back to any of them. Twice recently we ate at different locations and they gave us a nice discount for only getting the prime rib/steak without the salad or sides (Carnivore Diet ). The last time we ate there because it was good and they gave us a discount, the manager refused to honor it and said there was no way they ever did it. They also started charging an extra fee for credit card usage, which I can understand, but the prices are already high, and then no more carnivore discount, we just won't be going back. read more

Nice people, good selection of beers and food. The bar is yuuuuuuge including four tops that are first come first served and the whole bar area is 21 and up only. Probably the only place in two counties you'll find that. read more

Service and food were fine, but they decided to charge a 3% fee for using a credit card. Sign notifying patrons about this was obscure. Didn't see it until I took my son to the restroom. I get mom and pop places doing this, but not a huge chain restaurant. I won't be back! read more

Jonathans is a great local place (more than location but not a true chain) and is always so busy and lively. Customers seem to all really know each other and be friendly. They have two separate patios where dogs are welcomed with head scratches and water bowls! There are TVs on the patios but no heaters. The bar area is huge with TVs around the whole place. For big games they put the sound of the game on. The waitresses hustle and are efficient. The Food is good. They appear to have some fantastic happy hour specials! The bogo beer of the month was Black stone IPA and land shark. We will continue to come back here for the great bar in the winter and with our dog in them summer! read more

Great food options and ambience. A few times were the service is slow and items not brought to table right (3 out of 5 stars on service).

I went in here on a Thursday night around 8:30. There was nobody at the host stand for about 5 minutes, which is fine I don't mind waiting to be sat, but I decided to sit at the bar which they said was open seating. I sat at the bar for 15 minutes and was not approached by the bartender once. The manager and several employees walked by me and saw me sitting there with no menu and clearly waiting to be helped. I walked out, as it was clear I wasn't getting served by Jonathan's anytime soon. On my way out there was still no host at the stand, and they weren't even that busy. read more
